I precook my bacon, then wrap it. Then give it another roll around before it come off. This gives it more bacon flavor and will finish cooking quickly at the end.

I just cooked some filets the other night in the air fryer. Came out so tender and delicious. Omg. I always marinate in dales seasoning and put butter on top. Delicious.
I’d love to have a grill like that. I do have a Cuisinart grill that opens flat but I love Paula’s. I think I’d pass on the sauce though. They look beautiful. I think too once it’s cooked I’d trash the bacon. The flavor’s already there after grilling with it on.
Where do you find toothpicks anymore? I have looked around my grocery stores and never have found them. But now I keep forgetting you can probably look them on the internet. My wife keeps telling me to look things up. I forgot to Tell you where I live. I live in Port Saint John, a community near Cocoa Florida. We have Walmart and Winn Dixie stores and Publix.
In Publix, they're in the napkin aisle, right next to the straws and plastic cutlery. They sell them in boxes, I believe. I think they're around $1.79. However, you can also find toothpicks at Dollar Tree - 2 small plastic holders filled with toothpicks for $1.25.
When you go down every Aisle and can’t find them, you assume they don’t make them anymore because of inflation too. The price of wood went up many years back. But maybe they plastic ones, but I haven’t ever found them. Ha ha
Paula steaks should rest a minimum of at least 5 minutes. And you said u were cooking them medium rare. Well they were not. Why eat bacon with it if you have a great steak.
Why ruin a gorgeous piece of filet mignon with steak sauce? In my house we firmly believe that if you cook the steak properly you don't need anything else.
Funny I absolutely heard Paula say the exact same thing several times. Specifically both she and her husband do not use anything. It was just Paula promoting her own product she really does not use.

They are taking the fun away. I for one enjoy Paula's stories.. I don't care if thay makes the video longer. But stop with all the editing and cutting Paula off.
