Me and my friends have been trying different variations of the butter of the gods. The best we've come up with is to make the butter kerrygold garlic and herbs and add fresh rosemary to taste, the rest stays the same. It's amazing!!!!!
Not only did I find out about cured egg yolks (wow btw). You shaved them in butter of the gods that i never even heard of. Out of all your videos so far I need to make that exact recipe. Maybe one day. Just wow.
I have watched so many of your videos which have inspired me but always keep coming back to this one because I have not tried it yet. But now it's time, before the holidays get here, to put all of your favorites to see if any will out do the butter of the gods on a steak!

We had Guga’s recipe of Butter of the Gods on our steak NYE and had that same reaction. Our Friend spent a week making it. Well worth the trouble and makes more than enough for future steaks. I will never look at steak the same after having it with this butter! ❤️
I finally made it, it's worth the wait. I had a hard time finding easy to extract marrow. So I used rings. As for the cured eggs....the 7 days of waiting was worth it! I added a touch of rosemary and thyme. Left out anchovy paste (couldn't find it) Served filet steak frites with some cabernet baby bellas, halved placed opposite of the fries. I wish you could post pictures!
love your videos, im back in The Netherlands cooking some awesome foods i had a burger restaurant and we served amazing burgers, hand made also we serve them with some good fries, like creamy bacon, toss some bacon bits in there, cover it with grated cheese and top it of wit a creamy saus made from bacon. also we use fresh rosemary, parmazan cheese virgin olive oil and some sea salt, toss it and done! best we make is our chili fries, tos them in some cajun pepper powder, put a spoon of creme fresh next to it, serve it with burger relish and add some fresh galapeno.. try!

8 Tbsp Butter
1 Cured Egg Yolk shaved
1 tsp Parsley
2 tsp Shallots
1 tsp Anchovy Paste
1 Pinch of Salt
*Bone Marrow
2 long marrow bones cut lengthwise in half
To remove blood, heavily salt some water in a pan long enough to hold bones.
Place bones in water, cover and place in fridge for 1 day or more When marrow is white - good to go.
Salt Water should absorb blood, marrow should be white
Place bones in broiler on high for 10 minutes, marrow should be cooked.
Remove marrow and set aside.
*Cured Egg yolks
Crack eggs and place in bowl
Using a 3 to one ratio (Qty depends on how many egg yolks are being cured)
Add 3 parts kosher salt and 1 part sugar
Place part of mixture on plate or pan - make a slight divot in salt mixture for each yolk
Scoop out an egg yolk from bowl, leaving the white behind
Place yolk on salt mixture and repeat leaving space between yolks.
Cover yolks with remaining salt mixture
Place in refrigerator for 5-7 days (5 is probably ok)
Using spoon, carefully remove each yolk and bath/rinse each yolk in water to remove salt mixture
Place on parchment paper on a pan or rack for oven
Put in oven on lowest temp for 2 hours
Yolks are now fully cured
Yolks can be shaved using fine cheese grater
Can be frozen for future use.
*** Final product
Warm butter to room temperature
Using a micro grater, shave an egg yolk completely
Mix marrow, butter, shallots, shaved egg yolk, Parsley, anchovy paste, salt in a food processor, or you can use a wand mixer
Place mixture on center of 'clinch' plastic wrap.
Cover mixture completely in wrap and spin around to form cylinder
Place in fridge for 2 hours or longer.

When are we getting the, "Angel stole my dream job" shirts
Do the egg yolks make the difference in the butter? Looks like a pain in the ass to make.
yes. it really isnt that hard
Not that hard. Put it in salt and sugar and forget about it for a few days in the fridge... Done.
lmao you just put yolk into salt for 5 days
It's not too hard, and they taste really good.

Take a shot everytime "Butter of the Gods" is spoken.
Video idea: for the past 2 years on Christmas Eve, we’ve made filet mignon burgers, and I bet u can somehow make it better, but here is the thing, you cooked one whatever way you want example: Sous vide Etc. Then u have to grill the other and see which one u and whoever else is judging the burgers, chooses which one u like, like the videos when you compare a steak cooked 2 different ways. Like so he sees!
When you say burger, do you mean ground filet? Or just a whole ass filet between buns lol
No like hand grinding it and doing it yourself
This is like blue balling but for my stomach
On God
Well said
Could not have articulated it better.
The old blue tums, nothing worse
Me and my friends have been trying different variations of the butter of the gods. The best we've come up with is to make the butter kerrygold garlic and herbs and add fresh rosemary to taste, the rest stays the same. It's amazing!!!!!
omg, guga taking angel's plate in the end is hilarious.
I want to be rich enough to hire this man as a personal chef.
or you could just cook it yourself 😭
And after a year you would die from high collesterol.
@@massabeeste you must be fun at parties.
@@praise2111 I don't think some people realize these are tutorial videos. This would be expensive either way honestly.
@@user-fe8vx6ok8q I think so😅

Wrong, that's only Butter of the Demigods.
Add Wagyu fat to the mixture. THEN it'll be Butter of the Gods
rendered dry aged wagyu fat
Damn what a good idea. 😍
Bro... cmon man, now that sounds good
No offense, but the first thing I thought when you said demigods, I thought Percy Jackson
Bruh... thats evil..
but such a good idea.
That butter would go with anything imo. Looks so savoury! Thanks for the reciepe!
Not only did I find out about cured egg yolks (wow btw). You shaved them in butter of the gods that i never even heard of. Out of all your videos so far I need to make that exact recipe. Maybe one day. Just wow.
These intros get me so hyped just to look at people eat meat
Ikr lol🤣
that doesn’t seem quite right bro lmao
Take a shot every time he says "butter of the gods"
RIP liver
Lmao 😂 🤣
I have watched so many of your videos which have inspired me but always keep coming back to this one because I have not tried it yet. But now it's time, before the holidays get here, to put all of your favorites to see if any will out do the butter of the gods on a steak!
we all know that he’s gonna put it on wagyu next time
I do have a question about when you're searing the meat. What are you brushing them with? Different butter, the Godly Butter, or something else?
Thanks, Guga!
That is what I would like to know as well!
normal butter
He used garlic butter
That’s what I would like to know as well please
Guga is like a crazy scientist after tasting his experiment 😂
Sometimes you gotta wake up and watch some classic Guga videos for a lil inspiration
I love how he always acts like the food he makes were the dreams of his childhood coming true
I don't think he's acting.
Guga, can you do a vid where you cure all types of egg, eg quail, ostrich, chicken, etc...
Who else thinks he should try roasted garlic on his steaks 😍 I heard the flavor is amazing
When Guga slams the fork and knife, i know it is goooddd
Me: puts my egg yolk in the fridge.
Guga: 5 to 7 days.
Me: bruh.
who is gigguk
Lmao, wrong youtuber
Gigguk is an anime UA-camr, this is guga
@@polishxaviour4162 oh.
@George112 thank you very much youtube user George112
Someone is going to sell this in their restaurant and call it "deconstructed steak and eggs"
Who loves the butter of the gods? Guga you are the best ❤️ with each video of yours I try to become more professional with mine 👍🏼 Thanks for the daily inspiration 🙏🏼 God bless you ✌🏼
I think this is my favorite Guga video. Angel and Guga, you two have the best on-screen chemistry.
I use Angel's reaction as a taste meter. This time the meter broke :D
love your videos, im back in The Netherlands cooking some awesome foods i had a burger restaurant and we served amazing burgers, hand made also we serve them with some good fries, like creamy bacon, toss some bacon bits in there, cover it with grated cheese and top it of wit a creamy saus made from bacon. also we use fresh rosemary, parmazan cheese virgin olive oil and some sea salt, toss it and done! best we make is our chili fries, tos them in some cajun pepper powder, put a spoon of creme fresh next to it, serve it with burger relish and add some fresh galapeno.. try!
Appreciate the video man, if I could give you more likes I would. We can all see the hard work being put into the videos - the amount of cool shots and editing, everything on point my man 👌🏼
This calls for a dry-aged wagyu A5 picanha with butter of the gods.
Then and only then can you say you have truly experienced the best steak ever.
Guga: “I dry aged Wagu Picanha in the Butter of the Gods for 30 days and this happened.”
Thumbnail: Wide eyed Angel as an Angel.
I love your guys friendship stay up guga one of the best channel on UA-cam hands down
Guga kept the seasoning “extremely simple “ with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, as opposed to when he just keeps it “simple” with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Guga Please do an all Kangaroo meat episode! 🦘
Isn’t that illegal
Tony the murdering Tiger Kangaroo meat is fully legal and available in Australian grocery stores. It is also expedited online anyone can order it!
@@tonythemurderingtiger4191 Why would it be illegal? They aren't an endangered species unlike your namesake. Though I'm sure you can get anything for the right price.
@@DeathBYDesign666 As an American, I can safely say i also thought kangaroo meat might be illegal as well. In hindsight i never asked myself why hahah
Angel:“how much butter is in this?”
Guga: *YES*
This is the 💩
8:57 Where did that voice come from. "nice filet mignon"
I got scared and took my headphones off, Lmao!
"MEDIUM RARE JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT nice filet mignon"
I thought I got schizophrenia already
Thank you Guga food! I usually throw away the bone marrow after making Pho. Now I know I can save them to make this compound butter. We always have salted egg yolk available so this should be easy.
"Freshly grown Black Pepper" :D
Guga : Tricks Angel and snatches his plate .
Angel : Ah so you’ve chosen death .
The “Ah” ruins it
With a name like "butter of the gods" it HAS to taste godly
I love this guy and his team...true passion...no doubt...
I love how angel is calm when eating but guga keeps moving his hands like a kid
He sounds like he adds a 😎 at the end of every sentence, I love it
