"Do you find it hard to express your feelings in you target language?"
Me: I find it hard to express my feelings in my native language. Lol.
Hahaha me too
Same
Lol
actually, there’s an explanation to why we can express feelings easier in our second language. shortly, it happens because of the connection to our native language and our experience
Underrated 😂

Oh relatable.
I once changed my Tablets language to Korean, I pressed home screen button, I WAS SUPER CONFUSED, but good thing I was used to it so not much struggle....BUT I'M NEVER TRYING IT AGAIN.
I changed my device language to Korean this morning but after 2 hours I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t want to cause some trouble so I changed it back to English
I changed my language to Japanese, and my dad the next morning was like “Wtf is this? I can’t read that 0-0”

I have some questions that I hope you don’t mind answering:
So I learned the Russian alphabet (but I’m still working on reading) and now idk what to do exactly. I Tried duolingo but I felt like it doesn’t do much when the language you’re learning has a new alphabet.
Do you have any tips on where to start and how to improve my reading without interacting with natives?
Thank you in advance
@@Moonsapphire419 First of all, hello! I'd like to tell u one thing. In what part of learning you're good or you'd like to learn, in what you're into, like by watching or listening smth 😁 for example, I can learn any language really fast, by watching TV series, dramas or just a video in that language, I've taught myself Turkish by watching turkish dramas with English subtitles, and it's really hard at first but than I could understand what they're talking about by their actions and their intonation when they're talking 😅 I can recommend it to u too 🤗💜

Would it be a little too ambitious to learn:
- Chinese
- Japanese
- Korean
- Spanish
- Italian
😅
No it wouldn't
Just make sure you have time for all of them^^
Nope, it is not an ambitious goal at all. In fact, it is a realistic goal. once you learn one of the Asain languages such as Chinese or Japanese it makes it easier to learn the other time. And, also it reduces the time you acquire the other languages. The same issue applies when you learn a romance Language. For example, if you learn Italian, it will make it either to learn Spanish later. I am currently learning 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵 Japanese and I can already understand plenty of Mandarin Characters and South Korean vocabulary even though I have not yet touched both South Korean and Mandarin. Also, I am learning French 🇫🇷🇫🇷 and I am at B1 and I can already see plenty of vocabularies in Spanish and Italian.
@@bigfan2452 I'm pretty good at Spanish, I can say a lot of random things and have a conversation and that's certainly made it easier to understand some Italian. I can't wait to start learning the rest 😁
I agree not at all! 😆 I’ve learned that when you study lots of languages that you’re a beginner at, it can be a little hard. But nothing is impossible 💕💕🥰
I believe its up to you. if you dedicate yourself and time to each then anythingis possible.
I'm learning: I am still a beginner in each but i find learning words in more than one language quit interesting and also learning how theyhave some similarities or borrow from another language

Japanese
Tagalog
Thai

@@kkottii . Pretty much I have so many things I have to do. The main thing is bringing my car to japan. My car is originally from japan, I imported it to the united states.
It's a really nice car so I'm not gonna sell it. So it's coming with me. The funny thing Is I'm getting 2 or 3 of the same car, from japan. So I will literally be bringing my car collection to japan.
Luckily my parents will be paying for my tuition , housing and food. So the only reason for me having a job would be to afford garage storage and parts for my cars.
I love my cars more than anything else.
Now moving on since I live in the united states I have to do a whole thing with the japanese embassy and everything. Luckily it is close to where I live.
So yeah it's pretty hectic. However If I get into wharton I will be going to wharton and then just moving to japan eventually.
Omg this was so helpful! Especially the “shadowing” part. I would always feel really discouraged when I studied Korean because I don’t have a native to speak to, and I felt like I wouldn’t be able to progress. This gave me hope!
