Except the fact that the "äu" is difficult to speak for english people. :) Fun fact: "Schreibwarenfachverkäufer" is a word you usually don't even use in that length here in Germany haha. basically it's someone who's working in a store that sells writing/drawing materials, so basically everything around pencils, pens, paper, that kind of stuff. The song itself simply describes the daily life and tasks of a such a guy. xD

24:21 english hype chant was inspired by another german band called Scooter. They are techno band with trademark vocals by legendary frontman HP Baxxter, who's singing/talking mostly nonsense, but the band is full of energy and their live shows kick ass.
Also, Scooter was the inspiration for Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa, with the song name (there's Scooter - Hyper Hyper) and dop dop dop chanting in the electro chorus 😁

I usually listen to this album while I'm walking with my dogs. This is one of the most replayable albums I ever heard, it's great! I'm exicet to watch you react to it, guys 🤘🏻🤘🏻

A quick story. I first heard Eskimo Callboy because Tank The Tech recommended it to Julia Nilon. Because of Eskimo Callboy, I heard of WBTBWB. Because of WBTBWB and Eskimo Callboy, I found you guys. So this right here is a treat for me, because Das Album was my '21 album of the year, and the biggest surprise for me because it was the first time I ever heard WBTBWB.

This is one of my favorite albums from the past decade for sure! Tobi has some of the most insane vocals, I love his roars.
For real! He’s very good.
Would love to see you going through the lyrics. Some small details may be too German-inside-joke (especially on "Schreibwarenfachverkäufer") but I'm sure you'll get most of it.
I think you are going to like "Läuft" a little more understanding the words and it's absolutely hilarious how much Tobi sounds like H.P. Baxter (vocalist of the infamous Techno/Trance/Happy Hardcore band Scooter, best known for their 1994 hit "Hyper Hyper") in parts on that one.
"Jump'N'Run" is just great and the chorus of "Piks mich" is so... poetic (seems weird to me too but can't find a better word to describe it).
Metal is all about death, Satan and doom.

Spot on with your comments about digesting the album. It's a LOT to take in!! This album made it to tie my #1 album of 2021 ahead of some AMAZING bands like Spiritbox, Silent Planet, Jinjer, Crown Magnetar, among others... just a tour de force, and I hope more people stop seeing them as a 'meme' band (although I love their humor and never want it to leave).

I think it is a part of their charm, music and vocal are serious, lyrics and videos are not. I love that about them. We just discovered Spiribox! Comes out thursday, I would love to do an album reaction for them. (only after hearing 1 song!!! lol

Man I remember seeing WBTBWB back in 2013 in North Carolina. Man that was a fucking amazing show. I even got a signature from every member of the band.

The "äu" is pronounced - kind of- as "oi" in german. That is probably the easiest way of describing the sound :D

At the beginning of Lauft is that Scooter (Trance/Techno German DJ) for the "Are you ready!!"? I swear it sounds just like him and this being a German band?? I thought it was a great addition if its true.

You guys should check out some WBTBWB songs from the albums “Das Monster aus dem Schrank” and “Der Tag an dem for Welt unterging. Those two albums also included Tobi, the singer that came back. It’s quite different in multiple ways (are you even surprised?), and quite heavy with the strong electronic mixture (similar to this album).
I would love to hear anything tobi has been on!

The most impressive thing is that they still made the album so enjoyable even though its so disgustingly heavy. Everyone who doesnt speak German doesn't even miss a lot as they mostly talk about the most basic shit out there (E-Scooters, mosquitoes in the bedroom, stationery sellers, etc). Its really all about the sound.

I have to agree that they should have released a video for pretty much any of the other songs on the album than Nice. Not that that one wasn't good, but I think most of the others were a lot better. Every single song was a total banger though!
