Lol, I love the We Toast The Toast With Toasters idea
Been a big fan of these guys since high school (first album), been a fan ever since.
Tobi's one of my fav vocalists too in metal, like a sleeper build car
    Cheers

Thanks!!! This song was so much better than what I was expecting that I made a WBTBWB Pandora station (which seems to just try playing 5FDP all the time instead🤷‍♂️).
      Really solid stuff!!!

It is just the 2 guys, yeah :)
They're the original members. The band was founded in 2007 and was built up to be a full band eventually, but Tobi (the singer) left for some years (2010 to 2019). The new singer (Paul) left in 2019, they disbanded and Tobi rejoined and now they're back to the original 2 members.
They started by doing deathcore/electonicore covers of nursery rhymes and folk tales :D
I think understanding what they're actually singing (it's german btw) makes everything a thousand times better, because they're hilarious, but just enjoying the music (and the video; which helps set the tone for sure lol) is also great. Just good vibes all around with this band.
This song is about e-scooters for example. He sings about how they popped up in every german city practically overnight and how everyone is riding them (max speed 20 km/h ~12.5 mph) anywhere (to visit grandma, sober or not, uphill or downhill, shooting over the curb and landing on their face...). It's literally just about e-scooters lol.
    Very family friendly band :)
And the toaster is a recurring character :P

Awesome!!! I actually read the translated lyrics last night and laughed so hard my wife thought I was dying.
If they have more songs with such social commentary I’m DEFINITELY here for it!!!

The pink toaster appeared in small parts/ cameos in the videos for Dreh Auf! (Turn it up/ Turn up the volume but also Turn to open), their cover of Electric Callboy's Hypa Hypa (one have to watch EC's original video prior to their's, as there are some referrences; all six members of EC appear in it) and 20 km/h before it's breakthrough role in N!ce. 😁

Awesome! So it’s a star in its own right… like the Pixar lamp? 🤪😊
I’m sure I’ll be seeing more of it!

Hey! If you haven’t checked out a band called Darko US, they make insane music! they also mix electronic elements with heavy deathcore instrumentation and vocals, but they do a lot more serious music than Electric Callboy or these guys. Would highly recommending their new studio performance for their song Bunny Suit!

I’ve never heard of them but they sound like something I’d really enjoy! I do like the fun tunes but find they may suffer from limited distribution and appeal… so serious works nicely too! I’ll check them out! Thanks so much!

@@ReactionsThatRock Yeah! They're a bit heavy for the radio, but their Songs Donna and Come Home are their softest, sweetest work and really could get airtime. I stand by my initial recommendation, but the other two I mentioned are also fantastic listens. Tbh the rest of their discography is psychotically heavy lmao
