This is one of the major features of Resonite, being able to easily share your creations with others as items. The sticker as an item on VRChat looks simple now, yet has an insane amount of potential. Imagine this, being able to upload some minor 3D assets like an Apple that is not bound to your avatar itself. (And similar to avatars and worlds, those 3D assets having some max poly, material count and other rules for uploading and rating). And not just leaving the apple on the world for someone to grab it, but also allowing people to make copies of your item as well. You can even set a whole world with props around for people to grab it. This for sure would be one of the biggest updates in VRChat.
Maybe if they locked it into the creator economy of VRCHAT+ etc. of allowing object inventory/creation/trading. It would be a good way to monitor and track any objects that are designed to mess up the game specifically. That's usually the biggest hurdle. I love Resonite, but the amount of scripting and world manipulation it allows is very cool right now, but it just takes the right imaginative evil genius to code chaos.
Thanks, Parzeval, for a really interesting perspective on this. I had a friend point out at an instance that they thought the new sticker feature was going to make buying VRC+ even more attractive (you just have to watch people having nothing but fun mixing up the stickers they have, and creating new images/memes from a collage), but the concept of sharing items, like props, is even more interesting! Thanks for sharing! 😃
If VRChat is quietly working on building a framework from ground up to support various inventory exchanges, they’re on the right track. This sticker sharing prototype, I think this is what the community really wants for the creator economy interface to look like. It has gained a lot of good feedback and is very appealing. Combining it with age verification could lead eventually to a large influx of legitimate businesses looking to advertise and sell products on the platform, hopefully in a non-polluting UI way 🤞🤞
If using the default stickers was not behind the paywall it would be so much better .. uploading custom should be behind the paywall but the default provided by vrchat should be accessible for everyone. Too many features are getting paywalled which will end up hitting them in the foot in the long run when the same features are free on other platforms.
VRChat has passed away couple years ago for me i bought myself a index with full body extra base stations but i haven’t played it ever since the launch of the quest it’s just kids running around everywhere i wil never go back there not if you gave me money

Being able to drop a public avatar in a world is so much more intuitive than "hey, can I clone that?" "sure let me turn my cloning on"

Stickers is the best update I've seen in a while, it's so simple yet fun to show off your art, emoji's or troll people with a HD mirror sticker :3
i wish i was able to use it but im too poor for vrc+
I hope they make an inventory system similar to neos VR
i was wondering, how did you have the avatar for soukaku zzz before the game even came out? just curious
Sounds alot like what resonite has, not a bad idea.
Yup! It also reminds me very much of resonite!

Hey are the avatars in the vrchat avatar worlds free?
I took a screenshot of never gonna give you up and have been having fun rickrolling.
Soukaku ❤
SHES BACK
I've been having WAY too much stupid fun with the stickers... should join me some time and I'll show you how far my stupidity goes.
