personally I only use 3 × 125mm but with a very compact frame, it's even easier to make parallel slides, it's a real pleasure in town
I use something in between, a pair of Rollerblades Maxxum Edge 3x125 they kinda have the same length as my previous skates (a 4x100 set up) so the change wasn't that big, but the average speed increase is noticeable.
Never been big into doing tricks, always was more of a speed hunter.
Agree. The shorter 3 x 125mm frames are so much easier than the long race frames. The height is easier to get used to than the length of the frames.

I switched from 4x 80 flat to 4x 90 flat over a week ago and am still feel like I'm adjusting. Did pick up a lot of speed on the straights wich is great because I use my skates to commute to work.
The video still looks good with the scratch. You can tell when you pan to the scratch on the lens. I'm just glad you didn't bust it on that heel clip. That would have been a major ouch with no pads or protective gear. I have the outback 150s so I can relate to the bigger wheels.

I just got my first skates today. The No-Fear mens inline skates. I went to the bike trail/path and managed to get the hang of it. Barely. Anyways, I’ll keep on trying.

Ouch, that happened to me in a Skatepark as well in my skating travel series. 360 cameras are great but a bit fragile. Recommendation is to buy a 360 one R and get the lens protector. (I had to do that) 😫😓

Love your videos. Fyi I did the same and insta 360 fixed the lens at quite an affordable price. Just went online to their website and it was fixed in 3 weeks including shopping from Australia to Hong Kong and back. Good luck.

as I wrote you on IG, almost the same thing happened to me with my speed frames, When I was over confident and thought I got this, then I kicked my feet out on crossovers and had a really nasty fall. Fell so stupid that I actually destroyed my backpack. The ironic part is that I actually skate longer frames like the Aeon or the Flux. These are all 270 mm, but of course not as long as a speedframe.

I'm about the same size as you and use flying eagle F6 + supersonic speed frame (3x110) but I always felt I could manage 125s if I got a shorter frame (the 3x125 by flying eagle is only 1-2cm longer). DO you think it would ok despite my small feet? (size 40)
Very fun clip even if you ended up crying in your room 😂. Falls like that always made me skeptical about getting the 360x. Guess I'll stick with trusty GoPro until 360 cams get more rugged.

Hi Tiago, thanks for your time. Dude I was hoping you could answer a simple question. Do you know if it's possible to switch the 4x80mm soulplates to 3x110mm on a pair of Fr1 ? And if so, is it even a good idea ? Not that I'm scared of the lack of stability due to the height or anything but I'm afraid that it could mess up my skates (and that they're basically not compatible)

Ya I got my 125s & it always take a little while to get use to my stride is different I feel like I’m using different muscles in my feet, legs & ankles but speed is noooo issue my coasting speed on my 3x125s is almost my top speed on my 4x80s
My roller blade twister edge 110 frame became undone while double pushing up hill. The back bolt locking in frame untwisted. Was 2nd time this happended. Unfortunately this time i did not find

5 or 6th month of my learning.. I faced this same problem.. unfortunately I couldn't make my balance back and crash landed on road...I got scratches on my knees and elbows sides 🥴🥴

as a casual, going from ooold 90s 55mm stunt skates, to 4x80 to 3x100 (TG pro model, to nike shuz, to powerslide next core 100) .. oh boy, are those big wheels ever so bitchin' fast, (i put on hyper stripe 84A racing wheels for smoothness) getting use to HOW short and high that wheelbase is, takes some time. but the next boots and super low trinity frames make the setup feel SOLID, and once the wheels break in to a BIT of natural rocker, they become really spinny. i really wanna put on 4x100 frames, just to try a longer, less tippy wheelbase

Paris streets are so diverse that I think a 125mm is too much. I fell so many times while there on all the weird surfaces. 3x110mm is the sweet spot!

Most people would try a larger wheel setup with the wheels very close together so the wheelbase is similar to their 4 wheel setup. The only difference being the height. Like 4x80's to 3x100's.
@Drew Is 243mm the distance between the 1st and 3rd screw hole on the frame? I thought the frame size is the length of the frame. No? 3 x 110 = 330 plus a bit of spacing between the wheels.
In these wheels imagine if they have a bigger bearings atleast the size of a keychain ring...omg they d be owesome!!!

There's this 300 US Dollar pair of skates that are pretty cool, the boot is just a shoe with a frame and then it has 4 125 millimeter wheels, I tried them on at the skate shop and oh my gosh, it was terrifying
