I'm fixing a flooded boat that sat for a while. Replaced the ECU and had the no starting issue. Had to replace every single fuse because they were all corroded. It started right up. Thanks 👍
FYI its better to use a meter and look for 12v dc power. I also wiggled the 2 power wires going to relay and you could hear relay clicking on and off. Thanks for putting this video together.
I have the same issue. The thing I can't figure out is where the corroded off wire goes on the back of this block that holds the relay and fuses. I can't see where the wire rotted off from. Any ideas ??
I have a pair of "08 SeaDoo, I'm guessing RXT215s. I do have beeping w/ the key. When I press the start button, there seems to be noise at the solenoid area on this video, but it doesnt crank. Any ideas out there?

Most times you can clean corrosion off. Usually with some sandpaper or some form of mechanical etching. I’ve cleaned corrosion off speaker connections which fixed sound issues I was having.

Great video, I have the same exact seadoo and need help. My steering wheel cable got disconnected from steering wheel unit. It’s held in place via screw. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? Where can I get a new screw for this? Any of your ideas are welcomed

I have the same problem. Just a bad design apparently. Shame on Seadoo. My bigger question is that stupid relay. Which way does it plug in? You need an electrical engineering degree to read the relay diagram and seadoo wiring diagram from the service manual to decode it all 😝
I WISH YOU WOULD HAVE CALLED ME. I DID AUTOMOTIVE ALL OF MY LIFE. I COULD HAVE TOLD YOU IT WAS A BAD CONNECTION. THE KEY WAS NO TONE OR RING AT THE KEY THAT WAS THE TELL TALE SIGN.
@@peterhawth YES, TO SOME EXTENT . BEFORE YOU PUT THE KEY ON PUSH THE START/STOP BUTTON; THIS WAKES UP THE COMPUTER, THEN DASH LIGHTS WILL COME ON, THEN PLACE KEY ON AND IT STARTS EVERYTIME!!

The wire you cut did you connect it to the positive side of the solenoid? Or did you cut it then re ran it to the same connector?

How about if you get a B-1655 lock out code? And how do you clear the code? (2005 GTX)
Those red signal wires engauges that relay that powers it up. Good job just bypassing that corrosion

Happened to us too. The screw was in the belly of the machine, so we were able to reconnect it! Lock tight to hopefully prevent a future issue.

That’s DC voltage at that point. Not AC. The AC is before the rectified. Not after
I am having the same issue, beeps sometimes and sometimes not. Will check and see if that's my issue as well.

Mine ended up being a 30 amp relay near my battery.
My gauges work but no beep at all, any thought with it could be? Also getting no spark when solenoid is bridged.

So with a test light you discovered that a fuse is burnt

The stator put out AC power
The stator puts out AC current that the regulator rectifier turns it back in to DC current
I HAVE PAIR OF 12'S GTI'S AND SOMETIMES THE DESS KEY WONT READ AFTER RIDING A WHILE. AFTER SEVERAL MINUTES OF TRYING IT FINALLY WORKS. ANY TIPS??
