@@zee3391 No, the moment you turn the steering wheel slightly, the front wheels take a longer arc around a corner than the rear wheels, so they would want to speed up, which would only work so long until the rear wheel didn't want to let it. Now, if you had two bars connected to MAKE the front and rear wheels go the same speed, you would have the situation where the wheel with the most traction forced the wheel with less traction to turn its speed. Other crazy dynamics, such as he found, yanking the steering off of where it is aimed, would also occur.

A tow truck has plenty of power to drag a car. And beyond that they normally have dollies they can put under the wheels if they won’t roll. Or, can just drag it up onto a rollback. You could try attaching the car to something solid, but at that point they’ll likely either tear something up trying to drag it, or cut the chain. Here in Britain plenty of people (myself included) still drive manuals. I started driving a manual car when everyone else was driving automatics. The ability to drive a manual is now considered bragging rights. Every car I’ve ever driven on the road is manual. Stick to chaining the wheels as depicted in the video, and maybe consider wrapping the chain around a tree or a lamppost if possible.

A really inventive thief wouldn't steal the car, but he'd dab a little Super Glue on a toothpick and break it off in the lock. Now YOU have to cut the chain off.
samuel rivera , Comprehensive isn’t part of liability insurance... it is part of full coverage (liability, collision, comprehensive). Most people either have liability or full coverage. No one does liability and comp.
Maybe it would create a 75% four wheel drive effect if the chain was at the top of each tire cut to exact lenght so it would pull the rear wheel equally for a bit and if the tires are same size and remain on the ground whilst driving the ratio would stay correct so the chain would pull the rear tire when gets to the top
That's a faster way to pull the steering wheel. Overall I got a great laugh out of it. Since you have a good time trying stuff with cars, say you are stuck with a all wheel drive or 4 x 4. You have a couple 2x4x10 boards and some bolts. Could you get unstuck by connecting the front and rear wheels on both sides with the boards and bolts. In the same way that a locomotive turns its wheels?. What would be the outcome? Just curious.
Not sure of that but I think no. if you have 2 poles and the chains. You can dig under the vehicle to get the pole across the drive tires. Chain the pole to the tires through the rim. Drive up on the pole. This will lift your vehicle up out of the mud. Undo the chain. Using the second pole. Put it across the drive tires and chain it to the tires. Pull forward onto the second pole. Remove the first pole and repeat the process until you are free.
Depends on how powerful the engine is. If the engine is weak, it will lock up. Trying harder will probably blow the engine. If the engine is powerful, most probable result is the pinion gear will shatter (likely along with several suspension parts). Then the driveshaft will spin freely, but the car will still go nowhere. Basically a rolling chassis that makes a lot of noise. You'd be surprised how many vital components of your car depend on very small parts.
Garage 54. For your next video you guys could attach rod from rear wheel to the front to see if you can make this car a 4x4. I suspect this would be a straight line car only. LOL
as students we had an Simca 1100cc as a campervan but the locks where defective, so we took the steering wheel (1 nut, easy to remove) with us going to the beach. That gave us a lot of attention.
For some reason that part at 3:00 feels like that ff drive trick in grand turismo sport on ps4 you take a front wheel drive car and you lock up the rear wheels and hit the gas it feels like your drifting even though you end up making a smoke show it's fun
Dang. I wanted to see how the chain would perform positioned on the cars lateral frame between the front and rear driver-side doors, as one of the pictures showed
Repo guys are usually dick heads. I understand some people dont pay their car payment because they are using it in othet stuff. But how do you feel taking a familys only car? The one they use to get to work and get their kids to school. Do you feel good about it?
If I can see that shit it's mine lol just you try and hide from me. Now they're using drones to see if people park stuff behind the house without getting close to it. Fun stuff.
I saw a Dodge 3500 DRW with one of those crab looking car snatchers in the back. On the door it said what recovery firm he worked for. On the bed it said "Another One Rides the Bus" I laughed. An instructor I had in college used to recover cars for his uncle's tote the note lot in Chicago. People would make the down payment and one payment then repaint the car and change the locks and stop paying. He would show up, double check the VIN numbers then blow the passenger window, hot wire it and drive it back to the lot. If you don't want repoed pay your bills. I do think Texas should make it illegal to repo after dark since repo guys get shot every year there. Legally in Texas you can shoot a car thief or trespasser after dark. I suspect most of the shooters know they are behind and it is the repo guy but they usually get off in court.

Some cars like some Saabs have quite tough door handles. It's even advised to use them for removing doors after accidents as it's strong enough to lift a car or pull the doors away.
@@Mprikiman You'd have to Google around, it was originally translated from Swedish, I'm not sure if that was OEM advice or something else. It was mostly known on Saab forums and traces of it faded away over time. I'm also not sure which Saab it was about. IIRC, the memo was stating that the best side hitch point for recovery is the door handle.
My freind has a Lowrider and it has got stollen in the past . So he tied a chain around the differential to a lock and attached it to a chain that was buried about 4 feet and only the last link was visible. He then “slammed”the car all the way down and took the ground for the batteries. No one has been able to steal it again.
As a tow truck driver, I promise you that I'll still remove your vehicle. I don't care if the parking brake is on, you cut the wheels, or even if you chain all four wheels together. Either a wrecker or flatbed will work. There's skates, go Jack's, dollies, and different techniques. Might add a few minutes to the task, but one way or another, it's coming with me :)
as a tow truck driver, i also agree with this , i dont care if i have to drag it up the bed in park its still coming with me, the only problem i see is if it was chained to a lightpost or something it would have to be cut.
In my town (lower income area) , people get towed if they mess up, no trying anything weird like this. They then use a credit card, payday loan or something similar to get it from impound.
If I was game I would chain the car around the differential to the lowest point on the ground. Interesting to see people actually think some of these methods would work, especially through the door handle part lol.

Drive a car with one of those parking enforcement boots on the one tire
Bang Bang Bang just like that one episode of The Simpson’s when Barney lost Homers car lol
There are plenty of videos on UA-cam where people actually did that.
... but isn't something with one tire called a unicycle?
jeffw1267, hey nerd. They asked me what I want to see. Gtfo
And see if a jackhammer could actually break one off lol.
Your videos are very Entertaining! Thank you!
Nah
That's a faster way to pull the steering wheel. Overall I got a great laugh out of it. Since you have a good time trying stuff with cars, say you are stuck with a all wheel drive or 4 x 4. You have a couple 2x4x10 boards and some bolts. Could you get unstuck by connecting the front and rear wheels on both sides with the boards and bolts. In the same way that a locomotive turns its wheels?. What would be the outcome? Just curious.
Not sure of that but I think no.
if you have 2 poles and the chains. You can
dig under the vehicle to get the pole across the drive tires.
Chain on rear wheels? Your car is a FWD.
Try chaining it with a RWD
RVREVO X3 yea...no shit
It would still hit the shocks, drive shaft, frame, basically everything in back.
FWD doesn’t have a drive shaft it has CV axles.
Are you a morron results would be the same take tin foil hat off and read a book
You can if you connect the chain in the correct spots... Only if placed connections correctly. 12:00 front & 12:00 rear
I feel like tow truck drivers could just use bolt cutters to cut the chain, or the lock so it probably wouldn’t work anyway lmao
Yeah I drive a tow truck and I have a pair in my truck, not that Ive ever seen this lol
Garage 54. For your next video you guys could attach rod from rear wheel to the front to see if you can make this car a 4x4. I suspect this would be a straight line car only. LOL
Something like a old vapor locomotive´s wheels. Zero steering.
@@edtam6 Exactly...
Add a hinge or ball joint. May have slight steering.
You litteraly stole idea from my brain.Exactly what I wanted to see after this video.
I had the same thought and left a comment I hope they do
The answer is no, you can't drive your car with the wheels chained.
I'm glad they made this video. I had two minutes of nothing to do except be happy for the reassurance, there is a reason for engineering schools.
as students we had an Simca 1100cc as a campervan but the locks where defective, so we took the steering wheel (1 nut, easy to remove) with us going to the beach. That gave us a lot of attention.
Anyone with a brain knows that chain was gone rip right off that door handle... 🤦🏽♂️
David Perry and the door frame
David Perry in Russia 🇷🇺 you don’t need brain
MTNSleder LMFAO 😂
Yeeees but how fun is it to see!
In Russia old cars is strong af
This is the Russian equivalent of Letterman dropping stuff off a five-story building.
I must say... That van has one dope livery!
Chain the rims...chaining tires would be for a skidder for ice traction.
"that's was fast" that what she said! 🤣
Another question I never felt the need to ask, successfully answered.
For some reason that part at 3:00 feels like that ff drive trick in grand turismo sport on ps4 you take a front wheel drive car and you lock up the rear wheels and hit the gas it feels like your drifting even though you end up making a smoke show it's fun
Try both tires to make it even
How about you chain the diff and front crossmember with a very long chain then drive extremely fast from a standstill’s. . BLYAT !!!!
BLYAT
Sounds painful😂
Done right, you could make 4 wheel drive with chains
THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS. Glad no one was killed in the making of this video, like by a chain taking someone's head off their shoulders!
None of this will matter if the the tow driver carries a hand grinder or a nice sized bolt cutter.
The translator is funny af
real good translation job - enjoyable video.
Dang. I wanted to see how the chain would perform positioned on the cars lateral frame between the front and rear driver-side doors, as one of the pictures showed
I was hoping they will put the chain in such a way that it won’t be stopping each tire from another like that bar you see on train wheels
We just pick up one end with the tow truck and put tow dollies under the other end. #repolife
Fun stuff.
Has any repo person here repo'd a car with air bag suspension where the frame's on the ground?
点さら
I saw a Dodge 3500 DRW with one of those crab looking car snatchers in the back.
On the door it said what recovery firm he worked for.
On the bed it said "Another One Rides the Bus"
I laughed.
It's better to damage your car than losing it.
Im glad i subed to this channel it brings a smile to my face these guys are quality🤣👍
my very first voice over video i love it glad to see content creators finding ways to bridge the language gaps and very fun video
Can you please demonstrated with a Ferrari car next time, thank you. 👍
Charm lol
Ferrari origin is from Lada.
Dude this obviously is a ferarri
Dude these Ladas are much better than ferraris
This is Russia and not Dubai ;)
If you want a car that won't get nicked then buy a nissan, you wouldn't catch me dead in a nissan
what about a gtr
@@jfydjaja7077 nope. id rather a lada lol
I drive a Nissan skyline and it's insurance rate is sky high due to the amount of thefts that model has on it, I love my car but so does everyone else 😞
Like watching you're channel.
Keep up the cool work mate.
🇦🇺
Some cars like some Saabs have quite tough door handles. It's even advised to use them for removing doors after accidents as it's strong enough to lift a car or pull the doors away.
any source for that? Sounds interesting!
I wouldn't steal that car if my life depended on that.
Lol so true, looks like its a 24thhand car
oddly enough i kinda dig it 💀
Yes you would
Suv under $5000 Toyota
Easy prey.
I seriously love watching this shit!
Metal vs plastic, 🤣 love your videos
My freind has a Lowrider and it has got stollen in the past . So he tied a chain around the differential to a lock and attached it to a chain that was buried about 4 feet and only the last link was visible. He then “slammed”the car all the way down and took the ground for the batteries. No one has been able to steal it again.
Blyat = Good Lord
Okay
Hahaha I laughed my ass out with this comment 😂
@@eskael8599 cyka
Suka blyat = Good Lord almighty
As a tow truck driver, I promise you that I'll still remove your vehicle. I don't care if the parking brake is on, you cut the wheels, or even if you chain all four wheels together. Either a wrecker or flatbed will work. There's skates, go Jack's, dollies, and different techniques. Might add a few minutes to the task, but one way or another, it's coming with me :)
as a tow truck driver, i also agree with this , i dont care if i have to drag it up the bed in park its still coming with me, the only problem i see is if it was chained to a lightpost or something it would have to be cut.
ViscosityAE true, bolt cutters are cheap
@tOY BOy haha parking legally would also work
What if I have Hummer Marauder?
Tow truck drivers are literally the scum of the earth. Worse than pedophiles
In my town (lower income area) , people get towed if they mess up, no trying anything weird like this. They then use a credit card, payday loan or something similar to get it from impound.
Perfect. I need to change the clock spring in steering wheel and didn't have a puller
Thats how they drift in Russia
OMG Arab drifting look it up
Only in Soviet Russia
Chain it to a bank machine and just wait around the corner
You mean ATM machine
@@indeedsussy7838 and u meant ATM or ATmachine.
Matt Y TheApplianceGuy Owned 😂
Another direct explanation why "The Club" never really worked.
If I was game I would chain the car around the differential to the lowest point on the ground.
Interesting to see people actually think some of these methods would work, especially through the door handle part lol.
