How to remove paint from concrete garage floor using CitriStrip gel

I have the exact same problem with white latex paint on my garage floor... I was super skeptical about citristrip. It had a lot of bad reviews. I'm guessing nobody that tried the stuff let it sit for a full hour like you did. You have made a full believer out of me. Thank you.

i painted the wall and ceiling of garage with latex paint without drop cloths. The spots n the the bare concrete floor are extremely difficult to remove with chemical, wire brushing with drill etc. Small spots ground into the pores of the concrete that are impossible to remove. I intend to paint the floor with 2 part epoxy paint. So I guess ground in paint may not be an issue ?

Hi could you tell us a bit more about your project. How big was the area and how old was the paint?

Hello. Area was probably about 10 sq ft. Paint was close to 2 years old at the time when i removed it. Hope this helps.

Would this method work on a concrete garage floor that had been fully painted over with latex paint?

I would be very skeptical about putting it on any kind of paint as it will remove it all the way to the last layer. At least it did in my case.

Did you use a specific soap, like a driveway soap, or just a dish soap?

If i remember well i used dawn ultra platinum.
