Neil Diamond wasn't just good for a few years. He was GREAT for several decades! Every song mentioned I say oh yes to. One of the great singer/songwriters that tell you a story with great music and a voice that can make you swoon.
this is a VERY special song for me. I grew up with my parents listening to Neil Diamond all the time. He was the first concert i went to at like 14. I will always remember lying in bed at night and my mom and dad listening to him downstairs. Both my parents have passed away now...but hearing this always brings tears to my eyes and makes me think about those times as a kid.
Same! I actually thought Neil Diamond had big red hair when I was kid because on the cover of the Hot August Night record, the red spotlights shine down on his dark head of hair. That album was played all the time in my childhood home and my Dad would sing along and try his hardest to sound as good as Neil. I just love him.
Let’s put it this way - Neil Diamond has THREE VOLUMES of Greatest Hits. He’s a legend. Try Forever in Blue Jeans, America, Beautiful Noise, Desiree, Sweet Caroline, and You Don’t Bring Me Flowers, a duet with Barbra Streisand that hit #1.
Exactly, very very few artist have enough greatest hits to fill 3 cd’s . Neil Diamond, Elton John, Billy Joel, Rolling Stones are the only ones coming to mind…. And of course the Beatles can fill about 5 or 6😄
Neil Diamond has written soooo many songs. And the funny thing is... you've already reacted to a Neil Diamond song already and didn't even know it. Remember Daydream Believer by the Monkees? Yep... Neil Diamond wrote that. Definitely do some more Neil.
The Monkees had 3 songs by him: I'm a Believer, Look Out, & A Little Bit Me A Little Bit You. Daydream Believer was written by composer John Stewart, not Neil Diamond. They might recognize Red, Red Wine- covered by UB40
This live version is at almost half the speed of the studio version (which I think I prefer over this one). If you want to sample some more of Neil Diamond, Go with Sweet Caroline, Shilo, Play Me, Cracklin' Rosie, Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show, and Holly Holy.
I would agree with your view on the original versus this live version. I feel the tempo and phrasing are so much better in the studio version. But either way, this is an amazing song with a powerful message.
So many artists have recorded Neil Diamond songs. Neil himself had a string of hits 1960's to 1970's. That song "Sweet Caroline" that is used at so many sporting events nowadays is one of his late 60's hits.
Great song by Neil. He puts on a heck of a show. A VERY charismatic individual, great musician and vocalist, and quite a poet. Try "Love on the Rocks" "Sweet Caroline" and "America"
Song Sung Blue, America, Girl, You’ll be a Woman Soon, and You Don’t Bring Me Flowers are other great Neil Diamond songs. As people have said Sweet Caroline is a must.
My teen daughter told me a story when she was in elementary school, maybe 4th grade. They played music during lunch sometimes. "Sweet Caroline" came on. Everyone in the cafeteria stopped what they were doing & sang the "bomp, bomp, bomp" with tune. We doubted they knew any of the lyrics, but they all knew that beat!
PS Crackling Rosie is a sparkling rose by Christian Brothers...I should know as I drank a whole bottle in one sitting(our 2 week old son had just died of septicemia) and I was determined to become an alcoholic...I didn't as 1 bottle doesn't do it. Played this song over and over along with others.
Neil is talking about being lonely at the top. Neil is the frog who dreamed of being a king (success). Success in the music business led him from his home in NYC to LA. But once he reached the top, he found that he had no home and no real friends who understand him. Apparently, Neil doesn't think his analyst (the chair) understands him either.
@@vicchico6754 (The Chair) is his analyst/psychiatrist. When speaking on his feelings of loneliness and feeling empty regardless of all his success. "I Never Cared for the Sound of Being alone." The chair is not even listening. Brilliant.
I remember as a kid- it was nerdy to like Neil Diamond, cuz he was our parents' music. But damn... As I got older I became so appreciative of his voice and songwriting! I know if you guys listen to more songs you will love them. And no, they aren't all this slow. But his unique voice is great on all his songs
Yes, exactly! I didn't care for him at all as a kid in the 70s, but as I grew older, I really really got hooked on him. Hot August Night is now one of my favourite albums, not just from the 70s, but EVER (and is a great "starting point" with which to dive into the ND music rabbit hole).
I remember Dad having a tape recorder with microphone set up in front of the TV recording Neil,s concert "thank You Australia" in 1976. Love him, my fav was Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show.
Neil wrote this while going through a dark time in his life. He badly wanted to play Lenny Bruce in an upcoming biopic, and moved to LA. He immersed himself into Lenny’s character which took a toll on him, compounded by not getting the part. He was very depressed, and the line “not even the chair” refers to the mental health person he was seeing. So many great Neil Diamond songs, but this is my favorite
My favorite Neil Diamond songs are "Coming to America", "Sweet Caroline", "Cherry, Cherry" and his duet with Barbra Striesand "You Don't Bring Me Flowers". Can't really go wrong with anything he sings.
This song still makes me weep remembering the lonliest time of my life between 6 and 18!! Grew up in the 70s. All people want is for someone to know they exist.
Live 1971 version of "Holly Holy"...or as Neil refers to it, "A stream of consciousness song", is a must. Start at 1:40 because it's a fairly long verbal intro but well worth it. Amazing live performance! Starts calm and continues to build into an awesome showcase of just how good his voice really is. ua-cam.com/video/Ero_zy_O3fA/v-deo.html
@@Shrykespeare I won't argue - I can only agree. And considering I own around 18 of his albums and know every song on them all by heart, that's saying something.
So glad to see Neil Diamond!, a mountain of hits. I never liked him, then my sister took me to his concert many years ago……one of the best concerts ever and I’ve seen most rock bands in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s. He is brilliant and a good human!! His speaking voice too ,,,,Love it Ohh please do his song AMERICA…..Well make you proud
I'm not sure how 'proud' peoole would be, today, about the song. Our intense desire to limit immigration based on color and monetary worth is antithetical to the meaning of the song, sadly. 😣
I have to admit I’m generally not a big fan but this song always stood out to me as being outstanding. The timing on the studio cut is better, perfect really. He’s adding some dramatic pauses in this version. The voice, the lyric, the melody all fit together so well. A real example of how to write a song and how good music can be.
Most reaction videos go for the live versions, and they don't see what we fell in love with. They've got to change it up for a live audience. Neil Diamond is great, and the song's gorgeous, but the changes don't resonate if you're not sitting in the audience.
@@cariwaldick4898 - I guess sometimes it’s good to see them onstage if you don’t know anything about them. You can get a better idea of what they are about. Man, my comment above reads pretty stupid, lol. I got side tracked by the kids while I was writing. Glad you got my point.
@@rustyaxelrod I suspect it's easier to get these videos past the censor bots if they're live performances. I'm probably in the minority in that I almost always prefer the studio version--especially if the crowd is loud, and singing along, (like in "Sweet Caroline" live.) Part of what makes a song great is in the mixing that happens in the studio. "I Am, I Said" has so much soul-deep loneliness in it, the crowd just doesn't fit--even with the dramatic pauses. Your comment didn't sound stupid at all.
My Mom has a signed photograph of Neil on her bedroom wall. She’s 85 and it’s one of her prized possessions. His son and my husband are friends and he had his dad autograph it for her. She listens to him all day long on her Alexa and she’s seen him live countless times. He recently retired due to medical reasons and did a fun rewritten Covid version of Sweet Caroline.
His song "Play Me" is really good, very poetic and beautiful. He said something that comes out in his singing: "The human voice is the most important instrument at our disposal, yet it is one of the most difficult to understand or define. You either hear it or you don't. It either moves you, or it leaves you cold ... it is more than just a sound ....... it is the soul itself." - Neil Diamond 1974
7 Neil song play me the second there is to my heart this one thing I haven't heard anyone mention this is my feel of it Neil's song play me is a love affair between himself and his guitar now think about it laying on the floor beside his bed and as it goes you are the words I am the tune now play me play the guitar
The entire “The Jazz Singer” soundtrack. I know you’d love “America.” I saw him in Baltimore in 1996. Best concert I’ve ever seen. He is a legend on the same level as Tom Jones. Heart light, Heading For The Future, Shilo, Desiree…the list goes on. More Neil!
I've attended 9 tours of his in Australia. 10th I had tickets for but he had to cancell due to his Parkinson's diagnosis. Absolutely devasted at his news. He is a man that had to work so hard to make it
Oh definitely. I'm playing it in my car now- been playing Neil fir weeks. He takes me places emotionally and spiritually that I don't know how to go physically. I love him loads. My top favourite artist.
Yes yes I saw the movie in high school. We drove around singing the soundtrack for hours. I'm going to have to look up the jazz singer and watch it again.
Neil Diamond is EPIC! This man’s musical and vocal comprehension and expression goes wayyyyy further than beyond all measures and dimensions. He’s not just a “singer”, he’s an ingenious poet and storyteller who inspires people globally! Watch and LISTEN to the soundtrack of “Jonathan Livingston Seagull “ and you’ll discover exactly what i mean! This man’s ART HIMSELF ❤️🔥
And I just wanted to say, as a new subscriber, I really love how you both truly seem to REALLY listen to and try to enjoy and just "get" each song that you review. Thank you 😀
Neil Diamond is one of the greatet singers in music history. With songs like "Cracklin Rosie","Solitary Man","Shilo","Girl, you'll be a woman soon",Cherry Cherry",Soolaiman","Holly Holy","America",and so many many more great hits. This isnt the best version of this song.
Have y’all explored Carole King? Another great songwriter/singer from the Brill Building. Her album “Tapestry” is gold! Female Friday needs Carole King. Try “Home Again” & go from there. Introduced it to my kids (now 42 & 34) when they were teens & they loved it.
Mr Diamond commands your attention with his gentle yet strong vocals. He is a brilliant song writer as well. He has also written a slew of songs for other artists.
This was a very acustic version of I AM I SAID - the Original recording is backed by a Full Orchestra and his vocals are much more powerful if you want to check out that version on your own it is worth the listen.
There is a great backstory between Neil and Barbra Streisand on their duet - "You Don't Bring Me Flowers." Basically it boils down to each artist recording their own solo version and one disc jockey at a radio station played around with the songs and mixed them together as a duet of a couple whose relationship has fallen on hard times. The mix turned out to be a hit locally and then it gained national attention and Barbra and Neil ended up going into the studio to record the song properly as a duet, and now you can't even remember their solo versions much anymore.
I believe that Diamond and Streisand attended the same school -- the NY public school for performing arts -- simultaneously. I.e., they were classmates.
I did not know that they were classmates … I just vaguely remember that they had recordings of this themselves….didn’t know someone mixed them together! I am a Texas girl but live in Australia for the last 34 Yrs… love Streisand and I had heard some point that Neil Diamond lives in Queensland Australia …I think he has an Aussie wife ? Girlfriend?
" Sweet Caroline " which was actually written with young Caroline Kennedy , daughter of JFK , in mind ...could spend a week just reacting to Diamond hits ......
His classic “Sweet Caroline” is played and sung along to during the 7th inning stretch, at Fenway Park, during Red Sox baseball games. He was generous enough, to perform it live at Fenway, shortly after the tragedy of the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013.
I think it affects you because we all feel lonely, small and even insignificant at times. There is something in all of us that wants to scream out to the world . . . I AM!!! He has a lot of great stuff. That's what artists do, they help us experience the human condition together. That's why I like your reactions. Sharing the experience. ;)
"Sweet Caroline", "Soolaimon", "America", "Forever In Blue Jeans" and "Cracklin' Rosie" are my fave Neil Diamond songs. I think you'll like these, too.
Can't tell me you haven't heard Sweat Caroline. Especially here in the Carolinas, they play it during every halftime and 7th inning stretch. But they played it out in KC too.
“I am” represents God. Exodus 3:14 “I am has sent me to you”. He is crying out to God but feels he is not hearing him. No one is. Not even “the chair” perhaps his Therapist or someone of that nature. Great song! Glad to see you react to Neil Diamond.
I was at this concert in 1988! I can't even tell you how amazing this man is. All of his songs are stories. PLEASE listen to" Holly Holy" and "Solitary man" from 1971 next!❤
He is a legend! Saw him in concert when he was in his 70s and he was still amazing. His voice is so rich and man can be tell a story. Hello again, sweet caroline, red red wine, crackling rose, Jonathan Livingstone seagull and the jazz singer soundtracks are worth it! You have to listen to more of him!
The pacing in this live version was a little strange. I love this song, but the studio recording is SO NUCH BETTER! I actually recommended Neil a couple weeks ago, suggesting the song "Cracklin' Rose." It's a lot more fun and upbeat, and as long as you listen to the studio version, it has great pacing. I really think you guys will love that one!
@@melodymcdonald2140 "Play Me" is actually my favorite song by Neil, I just thought "Cracklin' Rose" would be a better suggestion to give Amber and Jordan a better idea of Neil's usual sound.
He's also saying he dreamed of success but now that he's got it it's empty. Neil fans are some of the most dedicated in music. My fav is Brother Love/Hot August Nights.
Me too! Literally anything off this album is killer. I'm from Southern California and would have loved to have been even one of the tree people at the show. But I was too young. This was my dad's album but I've always loved it
When he had to cancel the last leg of his tour due to Parkinson's, many of his fans donated their refunds to charity such as Parkinson's research. A fitting tribute to a man who is donated so much himself, winning 2009 MusiCares person of the year.
Neil Diamond’s song “America” is amazing. Backed by a full orchestra. It will get you hyped and also make you feel good about America. 😊 🇺🇸. Listen to it from The Jazz Singer soundtrack.
My heart soars when listening to Neil’s song “Holly Holy”, it is very powerful and the crescendo with every time he sing the chorus will make you shout! Love you guys! Keep it up!! 😘❤️
He also wrote "Red Red Wine" which was covered by UB40. Diamond's original recording is slow and so very soulful in comparison to the UB40 cover that most people know.
Yeah you will absolutely love some of the other powerful songs that come out of Neil's captivating voice. Is a master at being able to take you on a journey and build and give you a crescendo and a reason for listening to him.
I am a 63 years old woman, loved Neil forever and saw him 3 years ago in concert in Belgium,it was sooo good. Love also ,the Bee Gees,Queen,Tom Jones. Also "Play Me", "Love On the Rocks", "Hello Again", "If You Know What I Mean". Also check out I Am... I Said official video. The studio version is excellent. This man write's poetry. Pure poetry. The phrase "I Am...I Said" is a cry to God ("I Am" -The name of God which He first told Moses in Exodus 3:14). He's crying out to God because he's so lonely and he feels like God is not there to hear his lonely cry. The psychiatrist ("The chair") isn't helping him either. No matter how he pleads he gets no help for his loneliness. So he's saying, "Oh God I'm so lonely! I don't know who I am, where I belong. I'm lost, alone, and hurting. Where are you?" That's the gist of the song. Many people have a time in their lives when they feel this way and this song is so relatable for that reason.
You guys have to watch Neil Diamond starring in movie "The Jazz Singer" - lots of his songs feature throughout! examples of his finest work - "love on the rocks' and the final song 'coming to america'. 'Sweet Caroline' is an anthem sung by fans at many UK soccer matches and especially when England play! When Emma Raducanu sensationally at 18 yrs old won the US Open Tennis Championship two weeks ago the British fans sung 'Sweet Caroline' to the amusement of the American and Canadian crowd.
Between the 7th and 9th Inning. Still one of my favorite experiences going to Fenway Park. It’s also not unusual to hear the song being sung on the subway platform. It truly unites Bostonians.
You can tell this is an older song by the line "Palm trees grow and rents are low." Been a while since rents were low in L.A. Neil Diamond is underrated - great songwriter, wonderful performer.

He’s in Songwriters Hall Of Fame and the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.! People like Neil come around once in a Lifetime. 🎤🎶🎵👍🏼😎
So many artists have recorded Neil Diamond songs. Neil himself had a string of hits 1960's to 1970's. That song "Sweet Caroline" that is used at so many sporting events nowadays is one of his late 60's hits.
He had quite a few hits in the 80's too.
Yes, the theme song to "ET" to name one. It was a huge hit.
@@breckrichardson390, Interesting fact: "Heartlight" wasn't actually the E.T. theme song. He was inspired to write it after he saw the movie.
As people have said Sweet Caroline is a must.
oh definitely “Sweet Caroline… daah daah daah… “
Don't forget Coming to America.
Forever In Blue Jeans is my favourite.
Don't forget Cracklin Rosie!
I agree with everyone else.. Don't miss trying "Crackling Rosie" it's a must.
How can you never have heard of Neil Diamond 😮 🙂
Neil is talking about being lonely at the top. Neil is the frog who dreamed of being a king (success). Success in the music business led him from his home in NYC to LA. But once he reached the top, he found that he had no home and no real friends who understand him. Apparently, Neil doesn't think his analyst (the chair) understands him either.
Good analysis of I am, I said!
And it goes into the “I think therefore I am” / “screaming into the void” psychological aspects of existentialism.
I wondered what the chair represents
@@vicchico6754 (The Chair) is his analyst/psychiatrist. When speaking on his feelings of loneliness and feeling empty regardless of all his success. "I Never Cared for the Sound of Being alone." The chair is not even listening. Brilliant.
I remember as a kid- it was nerdy to like Neil Diamond, cuz he was our parents' music. But damn... As I got older I became so appreciative of his voice and songwriting! I know if you guys listen to more songs you will love them. And no, they aren't all this slow. But his unique voice is great on all his songs
So true my friends made fun of me for knowing all his songs ..
@@ellenstrack6274 🤣
@@lovemyrainydays good to know I'm not the only 70s child who grew up to be a Neil Nerd
Lenny Bruce was Canadian. Amazing musician! Weird circumstances around his death.
He is a MASTER at conveying the message of a song. 💙💙💙💙💙
This is my fav Neil Diamond song. So much emotion in his voice. Superb..
My favorite Neil Diamond songs are "Coming to America", "Sweet Caroline", "Cherry, Cherry" and his duet with Barbra Striesand "You Don't Bring Me Flowers". Can't really go wrong with anything he sings.
Love Coming to America
@@LuvTadnDixie It always gives me patriotic goose bumps. :)
Barbra Streisand and Bette Miller would be two great additions for Female Fridays.
Definitely more Neil Diamond.
@@Stephanie-ik1vq Especially when that flag falls in the background and he sings "my country tis of thee"
This song still makes me weep remembering the lonliest time of my life between 6 and 18!! Grew up in the 70s. All people want is for someone to know they exist.
Totally can relate!
😢Ditto, ME2, totally relate 😢 6 and 18, I am…I said! 💔
Others may argue, but I think Holly Holy is his best song ever. It's a classic.
@@Shrykespeare I am in compete agreement with you.
Yes!
I poo-pooed Neil until I watched "The Jazz Singer," and after that he became one of my favorite male vocalists!!!
I'm not sure how 'proud' peoole would be, today, about the song. Our intense desire to limit immigration based on color and monetary worth is antithetical to the meaning of the song, sadly. 😣
Been listening to Nei Daimond since "Solitary Man." Everything he does is fantastic but "Play Me" still stops me dead in my tracks.
"Play Me" is a masterpiece!
The studio version of this record, to me, is a little more lively. But the emotion should come through just fine in this live version.
Definitely prefer the studio version.
Kentucky Woman, Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show, Solitary Man. You’ve uncovered a very deep rabbit hole with the legendary Neil Diamond.
My mum's celebrity crush was Neil Diamond so I grew up hearing his music. He's still a staple at family holiday gatherings.
Definitely prefer the studio version of this also.
More Neil!
I love the movie and the soundtrack.
If it's the version of America with the immigrants that's the best music video ever to me
Yes yes I saw the movie in high school.
And she co-wrote Little Eva's "Locomotion." Carole could get a two-fer on Female Friday.
Can’t believe you, as Americans, don’t know Neil Diamond….he’s one of your greatest singing icons….. enjoy
Fortunately, most people learn about Neil and just how great he is when they get older and more mature.
Top 10 VERY VERY EASY
His song "Play Me", would go well for "Female Friday". He's got a ton of hit songs. Some more upbeat than others but all very good. Peace!
Yes, and especially the one where he duets with the legendary Shirley Bassey! That one is absolute fire!!! 🥰🔥🔥🔥
I am here for this! Any tune by Neil Dismond is a great choice, but might I suggest America from The Jazz Singer.
Love on the rocks and song sung blue are good ones.
Absolutely fantastic song.
YES, I second that!!
Neil writes 95% of his own music!🔥❤️💎
Mr Diamond commands your attention with his gentle yet strong vocals. He is a brilliant song writer as well. He has also written a slew of songs for other artists.
Brother Loves Traveling Salvation Show- best song from Neil!
Amen
Every song Neil writes tells a story…and he writes 95% of his own music!
Neil Diamond is the best male vocalist of my lifetime. I could listen to the whole Neil Diamond catalog on repeat, forever.
And I DO!🔥❤️💎
This was a very acustic version of I AM I SAID - the Original recording is backed by a Full Orchestra and his vocals are much more powerful if you want to check out that version on your own it is worth the listen.
Yes
Totally agree!
Listen to the original!
His vocals and storytelling were so powerful I didn’t notice the difference
The acoustic version is dramatically slowed down compared to the studio version. And both are awesome for different reasons.
I was thinking the same thing. The studio recording is a bit faster and gets more epic.
One of the best ballad, storytelling voices ever!!!
Girlfriend?

The Jazz Singer - Movie starring Neil Diamond. Features his music too.. well worth a watch

Neil Diamond's song America is absolutely fabulous. You need to listen to this.
" Sweet Caroline " which was actually written with young Caroline Kennedy , daughter of JFK , in mind ...could spend a week just reacting to Diamond hits ......
You have to do "Play me".. Absolutely epic! This guy is a vocal and songwriting God!
neil diamond original live at the greek is the best album ever. 1971
Every single person I have ever known LOVES Neil Diamond. He is eternal.
His classic “Sweet Caroline” is played and sung along to during the 7th inning stretch, at Fenway Park, during Red Sox baseball games.
He was generous enough, to perform it live at Fenway, shortly after the tragedy of the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013.
You can play Sweet Caroline, probably in almost any stadium in the world. And people can sing (or scream😉) the chorus
Kentucky Woman
Can't tell me you haven't heard Sweat Caroline. Especially here in the Carolinas, they play it during every halftime and 7th inning stretch. But they played it out in KC too.
Brother Loves Traveling Salvation Show
America! Play it !
Holly Holy.
“I am” represents God. Exodus 3:14 “I am has sent me to you”. He is crying out to God but feels he is not hearing him. No one is. Not even “the chair” perhaps his Therapist or someone of that nature. Great song! Glad to see you react to Neil Diamond.
I didn't make that connectiion.
Thank you I'll listen to it again with that thought.
Precisely right. Adds a whole new context once you know that.
He was seeing a therapist when he wrote this. Took him 6 months to write. He said it was emotionally draining.
Zelma Jenkins …didn’t know that. Thanks for the info!

The despair in this song just guts me. It's so beautiful.
AL JARREAU's "Roof Garden", "We're In This Love Together", "Boogie Down".
I was at this concert in 1988! I can't even tell you how amazing this man is.
All of his songs are stories. PLEASE listen to" Holly Holy" and "Solitary man" from 1971 next!❤
Same! It is actually the only concert I ever went to. I've seen perfection, so I'm good now
Diamond is iconic. Absolutely GREAT singer and composer
Also Play Me..... One of the most beautiful songs ever...
@@melodymcdonald2140 "Play Me" is actually my favorite song by Neil, I just thought "Cracklin' Rose" would be a better suggestion to give Amber and Jordan a better idea of Neil's usual sound.
Neil Diamond was my favorite singer growing up....I had to have every album that came out....I was obsessed !
Love this song! Sweet Caroline is a must. But I’m a Red Sox fan so I’m a bit biased.
Absolutely, this song was famous for the Red Sox fans made it famous every time we played

Brother Loves' Traveling Salvation Show is a great song by Neil Diamond.😎😎😎😎
The version from Hot August Night is the definitive version I think.
Neil Diamond’s song “America” is amazing. Backed by a full orchestra. It will get you hyped and also make you feel good about America. 😊 🇺🇸. Listen to it from The Jazz Singer soundtrack.

“Sweet Caroline” and “Coming To America” are absolute classics.
He wrote "I'm a Believer" for the Monkees, covered by Eddie Murphy in Shrek.
I love anything he sings. He does a lot of upbeat songs also. “Shilo”, “Hello Again”, “Play Me”, “Cherry Cherry”,.
"Commin' to America is upbeat...probably not very appreciated these days though...
"You Got To Me" is my favorite. ua-cam.com/video/FhsVKYj-vh8/v-deo.html and "Forever in Blue Jeans".
My late mother loved his music. People mock him, but he is an amazing talent and a lovely person, too.
They mocked him BECAUSE he was so big!

Sweet Caroline is played at every Boston Red Sox home game… they were the first because of Caroline Kennedy (JFK’s daughter)!!
Neil Diamond has the best voice I've ever heard. I really believe that.
Check out Roberta Flack "First time ever I saw your face" and "Killing me softly". She is incredible, you just might love her.
