Appreciate the folks still taking care of this platform as so many have already written it off. Very sad, but your continued support is appreciated :)

Thank you! My wife loves this car as much as I love my Elantra N and still has many plans for it. The N’s are so much fun!

I’ve tried all combinations of those… definitely
Go purple lower, purple transmission and purple upper.. the black upper is felt through the pedal and steering wheel.. even the all purple all setup has slight NVH.. don’t go black, will notice it and doesn’t do any better with wheel hop than all purple setup

I’m sorry you had that experience with the black compound. My wife and I both have this set-up and notice little difference. We both daily drive our cars and have no complaints with the bushings.

You are simply wrong that black bushings will not give better performance. MVH is increased but so is performance so it's a matter of give and take.
If this wasn't true why would GenRacers Racers TC Race Elantra use a Boomba Racing lower mount with Powerflex Black top and transmission bushings? I am running this exact same setup in my daily EN now the front end feels very solid which I like.

I am considering doing this mod, since I've done a very similar mod to my Fiat 500 Abarth; the initial difference was extreme NVH, but after everything settled and "burned in", the NVH was reduced drastically on my Abarth. My only concern with this solution that you showed us, is the bottom mount; this kit strengthens one part of the mount, but the original bushing that attaches with the thick bolt doesn't get strengthened at all, and it could be prone to breaking easier since the other half of the mount doesn't allow for flex, but the front half still flexes as it used to before. Still don't know what the best way forward is 😭

I spoke with N75 and was told replacing the lower engine mount’s front bushing offers little to no benefit to the stiffness and reliability for the VN and EN’s motor mount. After testing, it was found the front bushing replacement is simply not needed. Furthermore, the bushing is difficult to replace and adds cost and labor that’s is not warranted. This is why they don’t recommend the part.

@@nprformthanks for the reply, I was only speculating on a logical conclusion based on what parts are being replaced/reinforced

@@Snoopi25 It was a good question and one I’m sure other people have as well. Thank you!
