I would like to see more videos in this same vain. Like a further explination to the versatility of colors like Grey or Navy. Videos like this really help put into perspective how to weild color theory in your style.
I really love total black outfit from head to toe but the truth is that it’s difficult to find exactly the same black shade or because some black clothes tend to fade their black color easier than other. Therefore I’m using black as basic color adding a grey or beige / camel piece
U should look up Ralph Lauren (person not brand) to learn about mixing styles. U can do it and its have nothing to do with things u pick. Just how u do it.
Potentially it may be due to the way the colour is perceived onscreen, compared to in real life, however to my eyes, the black shirt underneath the grey/mid-brown suit at 1:39 works well. Albeit, not in a traditional way. I feel you have the suit cut modern enough to wear this as a playful throwback to Miami Vice/80s style, should you be so inclined. Admittedly that may be far from your taste given that era definitely was a …polarising…time in menswear, to say the least. However, personally this would be an outfit I would happily break the rules for and lean into that clash of colours you mentioned. After all, sometimes true style takes a little bravery. In my imagination I am wearing this to a nighttime, summer, beach-side event on a covert mission, pretending I am a quarter as cool as Michael Western. Failing miserably and being roasted by my partner for being overdressed. But when did that stop me in the past? The reactions of others, while important, are besides the point as any one of us intoxicated with classic style intuitively understands. Just an alternative perspective. 😂 Quality content regardless.
I love your outfits and follow you on instagram, learned about so many good brands from you:) but here my eyes work differently. Every time in this clip you showed smth not matching (like black with blue jeans and tan colored shoes) I was like "ooooh thats so awesome looking, I want it" lol so I guess I'm gonna be an eyesore
Johnny Cash wore black suits all the time and looked great. This is a very square perspective from a very square guy.You can definately wear all black to the office.ALSO those black buttons on your jacket do not match.
Your second quite negative comment here. Is there anything we can help you with? First - the times of Johnny Cash have absolutely nothing to do with today‘s dresscodes - everything but a valid argument, sorry. Second - you definitely should not wear all black to the office, only exception being that there is no Dresscode at all. Third - the buttons are dark brown bot black. Fourth- do us a favor and don‘t attack other subscribers that only try to give constructive feedback. I saw your comment towards him and don‘t like such behaviour on my channel. Like I said: if there is something we can do to help you relax / get in a better mood let us know 👍🏻
While most of the information was useful, I take issue with the negative connotation on the use of the screen grab of Jeff, The Style O.G. I do believe your description was subjective, and I am curious as to whether you made him aware that you were going to use his footage in your video.
Thank you for letting me know your thoughts - always important get all sorts of feedback! Usually I don’t like giving negative feedback of others, because there‘s just no need. I was looking for examples to showcase what I mean and the outfit shown just fits 100%. But that’s also why I didn’t mention him or anything. And sure, this is a subjective take on the matter and I do NOT think that this is the only correct way. However, fashion always is subjective and examples are needed. Plenty of people have taken my content for their examples as well and that’s perfectly fine. If we put our stuff out there, we have to deal with the positive as well as the negative response. That’s how I see it. Does this explanation make it more relatable for you?
I don’t understand the issue. I’m not even mentioning his name specifically - everything’s anonymous. I’m just educating my bubble on certain topics by showing examples. Everyone’s welcome to do the same with me, as happened plenty of times before - positively and negatively.
I understand what you’re implying but I’d hardly say anyone was taking a stab at him, and besides, you can hardly argue with the message and example given as it was the correct advice, the outfit did not go together
Excellent video! I replaced almost all my black clothes with navy options years ago.
This channel is going to be massive in less than a year. Brilliant work
Thank you so much! Let‘s hope so, else I’m gonna have a problem financing this 😂😂😂

Very good video. I love black but struggle to fit it into my wardrobe. This was very helpful.
Love every tip that you always provide! Keep the great work!
Thank you sir :)
I would love a video to show warm weather clothing; I find it difficult to be classy, elegant, and appropriate for the warm southern weather.
These videos are really helpful ❤. Keep making more 👍
I Disagree with your black opinions, but I agree with your mexican food opinions.... sooo, LIKED!
So I need to talk more about food then 😂
How did I find your english videos before the german ones? Well I guess I'll just go with it.

Great advice in this one, thank you. This might be one of the most complicated subjects. :)
Thank you! I agree - visualizing it was HORRIBLE for my editor and so much work 😅😅

I always think if you wear a black shirt that you look like you work in a restaurant or something. I think black shirts on their own are a massive no.
You're tempting me to see how herr nucleare Peter react to an extremely negative comment 😂
@@Pilonwolf what do you mean? 😄

Tips maybe a little 2015……outdated.
You‘re welcome to give further advice 😄

Style OG's content has fallen off a cliff lately. Hopefully this little jab wakes him up

I am not sure he violated any youtube rules with that illustration.
He was dressed horribly. He should know better. Or find someone else to follow
Distasteful to use another content creators image and take stabs at him. I hope you made your comments to him directly.

How moist can one be?
I really think black paired with dark navy blue is quite elegant!
Red checkered shirt blue jeans and black shoes lol. Awful.
