I'd have to say... absolutely kids are super duper soft nowadays. Mostly emotionally soft. They get touched once and they can't handle their emotions. A little talking is perfectly fine. But these kids wanna fight at the drop off a hat. What happened to having ice water in your veins and not letting people get to you? They get fouled a Lil hard one time and immediately let everyone in the gym see what they're feeling.

I have a 31 year old, 6 foot 5, 300 lb little brother that decided he wanted to get disrespectful with everyone at our mother’s house the other day. I walked outside, went to his car, and waited for him to walk outside, at which point I let him know that he’s going to start respecting ppl or I’m going to disrespect tf out of him before he leaves. He balled his fists up and began approaching my in an aggressive manner, so I slapped the taste out of his mouth when he got in slapping range. He took a haymaker swing at me, which I took unguarded, hands behind my back, twice from him, resulting in me laughing at him loudly afterwards. He then started trying to open hand choke me. That made me laugh even harder in his face. Our mother came outside and pulled him away from my throat, at which point he started screaming threats, so I slapped his glasses across the yard and told him to go pick them up. He called the cops and tried to have me arrested. The cops told him that they would be more than happy to take both of us to jail if he wanted to press charges, to which he shut right tf up when he heard his options. Before the officers left, they told him “You’re 31. You should already know that if you’re going to disrespect someone, you’d better not do it within arms reach if you can’t handle getting slapped, much less hit. You might want to start looking into seeing a hormone specialist. I think you might be suffering from very low testosterone. You are male, aren’t you?” I went to high school with the cop. We’ve known each other for over 30 years. I’ve not laughed that hard in my life!
Instead of condemning this behavior they get congratulated on it. Thus this cycle continues 🤷🏽♂️
Then they end up like the kid at the end by getting suspended for the season or even worse, catching an assault charge 😬
