I love how they are leaning into each other, so comfortable like friends. Isn't it amazing how they managed to come back so strong after all the sh*t they have gone through!? The story behind the song makes it even more powerful now. The change of tone is very smart and makes it sound better IMO. As a biased Dutchie, I really hope they will make it to the final. 🤩 Also, very sweet that William feels sorry for what he said...
It sounds way better now! But I still miss some connection between them on stage. Hope they can work on that and improve! :)

This really happened this morning. At breakfast, in New York City, with my Dutch wife, I asked, “Why haven’t Mia & Dion been interviewed by Wiwibloggs? I know William would like to talk to them!” Somebody heard me-or maybe three people heard me, and we have this lovely interview!
They are probably the most excited artists this year and I love it!!😊

In my top 3. It's a song that has style. I hope they qualify but if they don't, f*** that. I know this is a song I'll keep listening to over the years to come and enjoy it over and over again. That someone's not super experienced live or doesn't always succeed is completely irrelevant to me and I'm not interested in the petty drama. Every time I hear this song, it makes me go aaaaaah. That's what matters to me. But they seem nice people too. The best of luck to them!

They deserve the final, only to show the haters for all the backlash they got. I actually think the song is great, but everything surrounding it, all the negativity made it so hard for them. Including Duncan and team AVROTROS for not supporting them enough since the beginning.

Another amazing interview from William, the end was so nice ❤❤ I do think the Netherlands will struggle to qualify, lovely people both of them but I'm afraid the song just isn't good enough, I hope I'm wrong though.
To me, this is one of the very best songs this year.

They just weren’t good enough. They were a bit better than before, but still just not good. I hoped it would at least touch my heart, but that didn’t happen. I gave me an uncomfortable feeling watching it. Hopefully we the dutch will get a say in the national selection next year. It’s just not ok that one person (like this year: Duncan) or a few persons select a song and the whole country just has to accept that without even hearing all those other songs of people who worked so hard on their own songs. It’s especially not ok when someone like Duncan Laurens say “I don’t care what other people think about the song, I like it”. Hello: they represent the whole country. It’s not the Duncan show …

i had to watch three times to make sure they said : the song is already two years old ... On Dutch tv they stated - as a defense against the critique - that they were kinda set up by the song and that the song does not fit their voices ... on every interview the have a different story ... and that distracts a lot , and honestly ... i feel like they don't deserve to go trough (i'm Dutch)
I loooooooooooooooove their song, but unfortunately they are not good live.
Luckily, that rotating stage divertes a bit from their singing 'qualities' and the whiny song.
