Awesome build.. love dem old Datsun with the ka24de swap I have an 83 Nissan 720 with the same swap only difference is I’m on ms2 keep up the great work

Very cool - but why use a mechanical speedo assembly instead of, say, a GPS-enabled speedometer?

The main reasons were cost and ease of install. I used a SpeedHut gps Speedo driver in my Oldsmobile and it works great! I really don’t like drilling holes in old car dashes to retrofit new gauges.

If it's not an issue, and not too late, buy one of them new light weight lithium batteries. Hella small, and hella lightweight
