I still cant get used to the virtual pad but at least the combat menu on touch screen is very neat

I'm having trouble installing this on my Pixel 7 Pro with Android 14. Is it incompatible like the DQ8 mod?

Yeah, Google dropped support for a lot of 3rd-party apps with the Pixel series.
They're trying to push Android users to use Google Play exclusively, similar to what Apple does with locking iPhones to the App Store.
This unfortunately also includes mods.

Tried installing this and had no luck. Got 4 files downloading through Raccoon but only got errors while patching with xdelta. Plus I don’t know what the ogg file was for since don’t run the game on phone. Rather I use blue stacks on pc

I'll have to check to see if anything's changed since last I checked. Every so often they update the apk.
You might have some luck if you check "ignore checksums" in the settings of Unipatcher (if you use that).

@@That1PlaceBehindTheBush I don’t even know if I have the right apk files though. When I use raccoon to download dq4 it places 4 files in a folder called com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq4.
1) appicon_11300.png
2) base_assets-11300.apk
3)com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq4-11300.apk
4) config.arm64_v8a-11300.apk
I thought the apk would be one file and if I install with blue stacks I still don’t know what to do with the obb file and came with the patch

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Hopefully you should be able to find a link to the DQ Modding Community Discord somewhere (either here, if I pinned/linked it in description, or on the mod page -- I try to link it everywhere possible)
"com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq4-11300.apk" is the one you want to patch.
Once patched, you should be able to use the obb file(s) present on the mod page. That will be placed in ~/Android/obb/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq4/
If you need any more assistance, I highly recommend going to the Discord. (I'll try to respond here, but I don't always get timely notifications)

I will never buy this game, square enux prices in 3rd word are huge, but good job, looks great

Yeah, they have to fix their regional pricing. It's all over the place.
Same thing happened with DQXI on Steam
