Thank you very much for this video. It will be very helpful to check some issues in my network. Could you please tell us if is necessary another plugin in the Note++ to do that analysis? GREAT JOB!!!
@@timmyz1963 I used it in the lab exam as well. I memorized the full command because I felt it was faster to get logs that way and I knew I wouldn't need to depend on an SFTP server or depend on RTMT to work. My approach for the lab was to rely on as few tools as possible, do things in the fastest yet most accurate way, and to avoid rebooting/resetting/restarting things. I was worried a device or service wouldn't come back online.
Gupt Tura you can, but I don’t. Especially when I’m troubleshooting an issue because you never know if the call will go to a different node because of media resources or some other reason.
@@PatrickKinane1 I used the cli method in Cisco Unity Connection with the following cmd: file get activelog cuc/diag_CuMbxSync_*.uc to collect mailbox sync log files

Thank you.
This is good stuff.
Thank you, Tim. I am happy you like it and I appreciate the feedback.
Yeah neat trick with the log output in the CLI. It’s like a live debug. Really cool! Gonna use that in my studies.

Great.
Amazing video. I need to collect logs from my server, but I don't get do that. Appear a error like that: No such file or directory can be found.
when you are collecting logs using rtmt and you know phone is registered to this sub, would it be ok to select ONLY that UCM server instead of all?

Please make videos on cisco voice gateway troubleshooting.
Do a video that shows how to correlate CUCM logs to logs from Cisco GWs (VGs or CUBE).
Consider it done.
Can the cli method be used on Cisco Unity Connection? I do not see it on the referenced Cisco web site
Hey, Martin. I imagine it can be used; however, I don't get traces from CUC very often so I haven't played with CLI much there.
