Very good breakdown. One of the things the appealed to me when I first heard The Warning years ago is exactly what you pointed out several times - their song composition. They never just "cut-and-paste" or mail it in. The drum patterns change throughout their songs, the vocal inflections, bass patterns and chord structures as well. Their music isn't overly "complex" ... it's very accessible and memorable ... and interesting. As a singer, I highly recommend that you watch their recent release "Hell You Call a Dream" - the live recording version. It's a vocal showcase, and packed with rock enthusiasm. You'll really appreciate it.

The Warning just cant write a bad song, they are incredible, and if you like female bands, check out Plush, they opened for the warning on North America tour, another amazing group of young ladies
It is a great video, but I agree that watching them perform live takes it to another level. As a drummer, Pau draws an unusually amount of attention when on stage, and all for the right reasons. They are some much fun to watch.

You point out a number of things I've not seen mentioned before, like the way the vocal mirrors the string bend. And something that's been evident since the beginning is they never repeat a chorus or verse the same way twice. There are always differences that make it sound fresh right to the last note. Also there are no "catch your breath" moments between verse/chorus or any other sections. Their songwriting intuition has been out of this world since their very first compositions. I think they have many songs that you would not find too edgy. Thanks for the reaction.

I also love the sound of female-fronted rock bands. There's something about the smooth vocals and harmonies with distorted guitars and pounding drums and bass, that is a great sounding contrast. That's why I've loved bands like Heart, Evanescence, Veruca Salt, and currently, The Warning. These sisters really have their sound dialed in, and I love it!

I've been skirting around heavy rock for decades from the Deep Purple and Black Sabbath days through the hair metal stuff into grunge and punk and there's always been tropes that (for me) can spoil it like too many diddly diddly guitar playing parts that are just there to be fast or too much vibrato in the vocals (Bruce) that make it sound like a parody. This band has filtered out all the nonsense and accentuated the cool stuff and do it so well. I'm finding more outstanding music at the moment than anything since the 70's and that's in all genres from Jazz to rap to rock it's a cool time to be a music fan.
I'm pretty sure the art effect on this video is a filter for Adobe premiere. If not maybe Adobe After Effects. Just apply it to a clip and it filters all the frames. Adobe used to have a program for stills also called "streamline" that also converted images to cartoons. Cool effect when used on the right project. I like you. Talented as well. Subbed.

As an old rocker from the 70s, I started really getting into female rock voices (and metal as well, actually) just prior to the pandemic with Nightwish/Floor Jansen which led to Unleash The Archers/Brittney Slayes. Then the floodgates opened up with Lzzy Hale, The Warning, Band Maid, Love Bites etc etc. Very much looking forward to your TW - Hell You Call A Dream L!ve react, new sub.

Another great song from their upcoming album, Keep Me Fed! Really enjoyed your reaction and analysis. The snippet of your lovely voice and vocal styling in the beginning of your video was a pleasant surprise, too. Gonna have to check out your stuff. They recently posted a pro shot live recording of their new song Hell You Call A Dream from the Pepsi Center in Mexico, in front of 8000+ fans, on their UA-cam channel and Dany has killer vocals in this one. They are just better live.
I couldn't agree more about the female rock singers. To me it's such a breath of fresh air hearing more of this stuff too these days.
And bands like The Warning are bringing it. Most modern rock (or whats left of it) is pretty uninspiring imo.

They have nothing to do with other inflated and artificially marketed bands around the world.
They are the youngest veteran artists in the world of rock.
Metallica, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, Guns 'N' Roses and Muse are just some of the famous bands that have been very pleasantly surprised by TW's talented proposal, as well as all those fans who have sold out their concerts in the United States, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina...
In addition to Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
No, I'm not talking about the rock festivals, where they were also very successful, but where they headlined and were the main attraction.
Muse was so impressed with the young ladies who opened their concerts in Mexico, that they invited them to continue with them on their tour of Europe and even in their own country, the United Kingdom.
It's redundant to say, but they were also very successful.
Among TW's fans are musicians, music producers, sound engineers, roadies, vocal coaches, music critics, etc., from all over the world.
In addition, and no less important, they are the first Latin American band to sign with a top-level international record label (UNIVERSAL MUSIC).
And just to mention it superficially, what happened at the MTV VMAs was spectacular, as they impressed (impacted) the production staff and everyone who witnessed it very positively, the Director exclaimed at the end of "Evolve":
"... Holly Shit, I'm a fan now!! ..."
Other collaborators from the same production heard this and told it to the girls... and there is video evidence of it. .
Around the world, budding rock groups are covering the band, including Asia and Australia.
And all this is being done by Dany, Pau and Ale being very young and on their own merits, with discipline and professionalism.
What they didn't do was to stagnate only in the field of rock in their own language, which is the "ceiling" in which other Spanish-speaking groups have always been limited... Or that they have failed.
It's such a talented all-female band that they don't "exploit" their sexuality, they are educated, humble and very good human beings with a truly exemplary attitude.
This year they will play as head-liners in several European countries where several have already sold out and have even had to change venues for others with greater capacity.
And they will also perform at the "Wacken Open Air" 2024 in Germany, the most important metal festival and at the "Pol'and'Rock" festival in Poland, which is considered the biggest music festival in Europe and they will be there on the main stage.
Recently they have announced three dates in which they will perform in Japan in June and on the first day they will do so with Band-Maid.

In the beginning, I felt the same way but slowly realized that this was what the girls wanted when making the album, so I just let it grow on me.
