I have both and find soothe easier to use. I have hopes of getting used to melda plugins, they are exciting but dense and clunky. I do like the scientific vibe and the depth the plugins have. Soothe 2 is so functional and elegant.
I have the same opinion. All of the extra functionality in Melda is very welcome BUT, Soothe 2 is so much quicker to operate and get most of the tasks done in no time!
Melda is absolutely Insane Awesome as a Company. They deserve more Coverage ...

nice UI/UX analysis of the plugins
What is thep oint of M+S mode if you can't differentiate the two. You'd have to open to iterations of the plugins and set them to Midand Side respectively. Cmon Melda

Yeah, Melda is seriously underappreciated in my opinion.

what about Spectral Compressor?
A "resonance remover"? Sounds lie a fancy name for Dynamic EQ.
Dynamic EQ would affect a static frequency. (unless automated)
This is in the ballpark of a dynamic EQ, but in my mind a completely different beast.
Sounds like you have no idea what you're talking about, as soothe 2 is one of the best plugins your money could buy you.
@@DBTHEPLUG I'm sure it's a great plugin, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm just saying that it seems to be "listening" for resonant frequencies that can be wreaking havoc on a mix and taming them, much like how a dynamic EQ would. Only this does the work for you.
Maybe understand the content of what is being said before lobbing ad-hom attacks.
