She had some depression to battle for a bit then Brandi Carlisle and Shooter Jennings pulled her out of that dark place by encouraging her to get back to her music again. She cut her new album with Shooter's direction and the rest is history. And yes. She finally won a Grammy at 61. Talk about a great singer who was pretty much ignored by the Nashville establishment. Finally, her life is full again. God bless her. She is still entertaining her faithful fans who never gave up on her ...when (as she said) she had given up on herself.

That was just a fantastic concert. There's nobody like Tanya --- a unique voice, a whole lot of soul, and a great stage personality. There's never been another country singer the least bit like her. I've loved her since I was about 19 years old. I'm not sure if the French knew what to make of her, but she really let it rip.

Tanya is the best there is and the best there ever will be.she is capable of singing anyone's songs and capable of dueting with anyone. No one out there can even come close.
