We became minimalists about 5 years ago. Now we have a small mortgage free house in a great location with everything we need, no worries about rising energy costs, and little need to work.

Same here David. IWe started 10 years ago and now have two small cottages on 11 acres and are also mortgage-free. Becoming minimalist was life changing. Videos like this, keep me on track.

Fellow vegan of over a decade here, working my way into minimalism - with a non-vegan, lover-of-things, spouse. If there is hope here for a more plant-based, less cluttered life with an exceptional hubby whom I love very dearly, I may be a new sub!
Started my journey years ago. So thankful for it. It is so easy to get dressed. My dishes fit easily in the cabinets. Basically one dish washer load. still have some work to do that have come so far. Did it one drawer and one cabinet at a time. Closets must be completely emptied To make any impact. I tried to do it other ways, made no progress. They have to be empty to seriously evaluate what you really want to go back in there
In my attempt to get some good tips about minimalism and decluttering, today I rushed through a bazillion videos, and yours was the first one when I thought 'finally someone who is not hyperactive, hyper enthusisatic, hyper gleefully or other sort of hyper exhausting to watch'. Got the feeling you are one of the few who don't represent themselves but who just are themselves - that is so relieving!
Tracy McCubbin has two books that are great with help in the declutter process, and helping you to get down to the root of the situation and why the clutter is there to begin with. Otherwise, you can declutter and then just slowly replace it with other or new. I recommend Tracy's books for this process. This has helped me tremendously. You can find her on UA-cam and her books on Amazon
I cared a lot about the opinion of the people around me in the way I dress in the number of clothes for example . in many things I criticized them mostly regarding the number of possessions I own now I became happier after I chose to take simplicity as a way of life in everything

this is what exactly Kim kardashian does with her home. She said once in a house tour interview that she chooses her house to be plain and simple because our in there in the world there is so much chaos that when she comes home she just wants it to be quite and serene. I loved this video!

Great video. I moved to the UK in June with my family and went from a very large house to a house about 1/4 of the size. I decluttered so much in making the move here and want to live a more minimalist life. It's a work in progress though but I feel far more free just to enjoy life experiences living with less.

I like what you point to minimalism it’s not the goal but the start to ask myself what is important to me ?
2 days ago God was leading me to ask this to myself after He delivered me from mental attack, after my mind is free what I want? What I like? And as one said what is your perfect day ? Start to live it so you reach the life you want
& I realized God reveal to me in my heart that I spend to much time on my phone watching others instead start living my life
