  • For a chance to win all of the tools in the jackhammer bit videos, let me know what you would use the tool for in the comments. You can comment in every jackhammer bit video I do and get another chance to win for each comment. When I get all the videos up, I will draw a winner's name, get their info, and ship them out! Sorry, but this is only for folks in the US. Good luck!

    I love how you have a safety guard around the motor but not on any of the actual moving parts.

      @VooDooTennessee  4 місяці тому +1

      The funny thing is the "guard" around the motor is made from a purex bleach bottle, came with the grinder. I guess it's really more of a dust cover, thanks for watching!

    What to do with a hot cut? Cut hot metal of course! Which would be precisely what I will need to do once I get my forge set up and begin forging. I'm sure 99% of the stuff I will be doing in the beginning is cutting scrap materials up for making and the other stuff I need, so yeah, that's what I would be using a hot cut for.

    Off subject kinda, just finished up my 5 ton electric log splitter forge press build. Wasn’t really having high expectations for it, I was very delighted with it, total game changer! Might explore building one for a video

    I hope it's not too late for me to enter. Few hours left! I would use this with my anvil (probably was my great grandfather's. it's missing the horn that broke off). But i would still make it work for my tongs and knife projects!

    Just found your channel and subscribed...I like the help and advice you offer to others who may be less experienced. Please DO NOT enter me in the drawing as I have no need of the tools. I would rather they go to someone who needs them, and will put them to good use. I'll be back though, to check out more of your content...really enjoyed it!

    actually Brandon i lucked out and found a chisel that fits my hardy and makes the perfect hot cut for the anvil!! a question if you don;t mind, do you have trouble getting the Granville forge up to critical temp when it's damp and foggy outside? it's been that way for a couple weeks here and i've been trying to harden a couple fire steels and it seems like the fire just won;t reach the temp because of the dampness in the air! by the way have you come across the metal out of china called crapnium? it's not good for anything!!!

    • @VooDooTennessee
      @VooDooTennessee  4 місяці тому

      Some times it may take a little longer but it always gets there for me, and I have encountered poor quality steel from lost of places.

    • @keithmoore5306
      @keithmoore5306 4 місяці тому

      @@VooDooTennesseei'm thinking it's either bad coal or the dampness in the blower air not letting the fire get hot enough, but if it just takes longer it's the coal!
