Hello, and thank you that you appreciate not only the drills but also approach and instructions which I try to bring to each player, coach and parent. Thank you
Honestly bro, totally awesome stuff, this simple stuff is huge for all skill levels. I bet some AAA players can't do these with their heads up. Super helpful, super encouraging
@@Thedaniexpress Definitely! As someone trying to just get better at skating as an adult, I'm here to welcome and pump up the tires on any content that's quality and helps make my life easier.
This is great, but could you either index the video with timestamps or maybe make shorter videos? I am always looking for things as a coach and have just about every hockey vid on YT saved and categorized in playlists but an hour without markers makes it tough to find specific things.
Hello, Mr. Ben. Thank you so much for your suggestion and positive comment. Yes, I will do that, it's a good idea. Thank you. You will find shorter videos in the "Shorts" category on this channel. Did you find them? All the best
I did find them, good stuff. I like how you numbered the drills. I use a lot of these already but there were a lot of variations that I will be adding in. Keep them up, there is not a lot of new content on YT at this point.
@@Thedaniexpress like if there are any holes you don't put laces through on your skates. I sometimes see players not lacing the top eyelet, or sometimes lacing the top eyelet and skipping the second from the top. Supposed to help with forward ankle flexibility
@@tsraponi Your point of view is very interesting, and it’s a good point for discussion. When players don’t lace the top eyelet, their ankles will be more flexible and may become stronger, but they will use more energy for skating due to the increased ankle movement. The fewer eyelets that are tightly laced, the more pressure there will be on the foot, which can lead to increased strength. However, if you lace all the eyelets tightly, you will need less energy to move, though your skating turns and flexibility will be constrained. At the same time, your feet will require less energy to move.
Finally! A skills coach who isn’t doing ridiculous things for clicks. These are all fantastic drills and the instruction is top notch man!
