This is the best video of their tour. Amazing quality of photography: clear, close up, no heads in the way. And the sound quality is awesome. A real treasure. Thank you.
I agree, the set list is amazing as well.
Definitely check out 12/22/22 at The Shrine! Although that was technically the prior tour, I suppose.
Appreciate that. I am watching it back now and think this was my best recording of they year I pulled. :)
...other than the first ones at the magazine, london. I was lucky enough to be there and managed to save the recording of the gig. Simply sublime - wish they'd just upload it to youtube

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I have updated the information with it!
@@ryanj65 No problem! Thanks for sharing the video!
Thank you! Do you know if colors fly and people on balconies are smile songs that have yet to be released or is it other Radiohead projects? I’ve never heard them and I’m pretty big fan
@nWolford People on Balconies is on their new album under a new title: Friend of a Friend. Colors Fly is probably going to be released on their 3rd album.
Teleharmonic is the best song I’ve heard in a while
Thom’s EOB Strat sounds great on Teleharmonic!
So it is Stratoharmonic now :)
@@bojadinnnnnnnnnn eyyyyy!
Bending Hectic. Teleharmonic. Read the Room. So many epic songs for the second album! 🤩
I doubt Bending Hectic will be on the album. It is 8 minutes long and was already released as a single many months ago
Ok, I was wrong
@Matthew-lj2zf It matters not! I'm so grateful to you for updating your comment because I missed _The Smile's_ new album announcement today, and if I hadn't seen your replies here, I'd have missed the tour dates too and the opportunity to see the band again! So *thank you!* I wish I could buy you a ticket. 😄 Enjoy the music! ua-cam.com/video/jM0MafOVrv8/v-deo.html
@@Matthew-lj2zf you was wrong :)
Just reminding you of your wrongness. @@Matthew-lj2zf
People in the balconies
Filming for our pleasure
For all human beings.
My daughter and I drove 5 hours from Canada for this! One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen! Only regret is not hearing “ Free in the Knowledge” but Bending Hectic well made up for it!
My daughter and I heard the NYC concert, where they did "Free in the Knowledge" instead of "Open the Floodgates" (which I also love). Great concert!
Jonny is always on fire 🔥🔥
Why is he not considered the goat of his time?
The singer's voice is angelic.
Do I have a band for you
Radiohead
Finally, Thom has succumbed to the stratocaster!
The Ed O’Brien strat no less
check out thom playing in headless chickens, high and dry played with a strat
Love it when he seems so genuinely happy and soaking the moment being with all of you all before "Open the Floodgates".
It was truly an amazing moment
The caricature is that he is always 'down' but that is a myth. There's plenty of footage from over the years where he is enjoying himself. But I've never seen him this positive. Seeing it makes me think "why would he would he want to go back to a general audience with Radiohead that will be disinterested in new material and be screaming to Creep"
I hope Thom got a mates rates discount om that EOB strat.
Bending Hectic is so darn good!
People on Balconies is an instant classic.
Having heard it on the album, I agree.
I could listen to the noise intro from the hairdryer for hours, its so good.
Wall of eyes is album of the year, its hard to come close to this.
Robert Stillman was an excellent musician himself and a great opener for the boys. I already love Stillman's stuff as much as the smile!
I hope Robert Stillman is a full time member going forward he brings such a great vibe to the songs. His song Cherry Ocean is incredible.
This show was great live
Was there that night... wanted to relive it. Now I can! THANK YOU!
Willie Nelson does a pretty damn good Thom Yorke impression . I'll give him that!
Thank you for this! The boys are sounding great on this tour!
Thanks for sharing! I couldn't see one bit of the show- seems everyone is 7 ft tall now!
OH - Many Thanks for this awesome Video!! LOVE IT!
opening with read the room adds so much hype to the show this is amazing!!!!
I am in Columbus, and thank you so much!!
Yes! Thank you!
I was there and hope they come back again soon! What a gift
Awesome , Thanks for posting!
I was there! So good to be able to watch the video. Thanks
Thanks for doing this. Looks amazing. You’ve done a great job with the sound but also capturing Thom’s dancing
Thank you ❤
Great video thanks so much
thank so much for this!
Thank you Ryan
Brilliant post! 😊
Just saw em last night in Quebec city! The whole thing was beautiful
Such an amazing band, was honored to have got meet them after Dallas show, one of the highlights of my life. Thank you for posting this.
dope
Enjoying this beautiful concert from New Zealand❤
Onde esse homem pisa, é benção. Amém
Great performance of 'Friend of a Friend'!
OMG so much happening 😻
I was so excited to go to this show. By far the greatest show I’ve ever seen.
ありがとう😊
thank you for sharing . i missed them when they were in St. Augustine
Incredible sound!
Incredible! Thank you so much.
amazing live
Wow what a nice surprise. I was on the floor living in the moment. Good to have a backup.
I was standing. Just on floor level*
Awesome! I hope they debut some new songs in 2023. All the new songs have been played in 2022 so far.
magic.
Going to see them in Manchester next year! Can’t wait.
"people on balconies" is now known as "friend of a friend"
best show of this tour
Awesome video! Any audio available? Thank you!
❤🌿🐞
So cool! Regards from Minsk
There’s something nostalgic about these songs… but double plus good!
I keep thinking about Laurel Canyon… 1968- 2068!
Feeling Pulled Apart is just a masterpiece
Tom Skinner is such an underrated drummer
Is he? 😂
yup, from a drummers prospective, he is incredibly good at laying back and being what a drummer is meant to be which is a foundation of a band. but clearly has the chops to do crazy stuff if he really wants. and no one seems to talk about this dude@@peteowen3539
Cool. Tom playing the Ed O’Brien signature Strat for Teleharmonic @42:38
Love them! But I always worry about Johnny G's neck when he's at the piano. I hope he does yoga!
Most replayed is the start of Teleharmonic. This band's fans are a wise bunch.
I was a mess this entire show lol waterworks. When they played Open The Floodgates I could have died. Flew into town the day of this show and got to enjoy with my brother. Had to be one of the smallest venues of their tour. So exhilarating!
Such an Ulrich Schnauss vibe to We Don’t Know What Tomorrow Brings. Thinking ‘Clear Day’. Can’t beat a bit of kraut rock!
Look at Thom rocking that bass and singing like it's nothing. Nobody's ever voiced disagreement in my company when I've bellowed out my customary "Best f___ing band in the Universe!" schtick. Know why? I do.
You rate The Smile > Radiohead?
Ты был в лучшем месте
He’s using Ed’s sustainer strat
Just so you know, you've got 2022 in the title and 2023 in the description.
1:30:23 : let the flow break the dam and flood all over...
42:49 Thom has an Ed O'Brien signature strat!
SEND SPOT n THEN SOME
Just tryin' to get on yer level with the SENDS!
@@ryanj65 dude..you're topping the SEND!
I really hope they turn FPABH into an album song
on n'entend pas assez Jonny..........
i like blur :)
Waving a white flag is the evolution of Greenwood’s 11/4 loop? Feel like he visits this pattern over a few of there compositions
PEOPLE ON BALCONIES could definitely be on KID A or AMNESIAC...
A hairdryer, depending on the performance, is such a powerful song or in the worst case, a muddy mess...
Best performance is one of the Magazine shows (#2?) Thom nails the 'pretty lights' outro.
what is going on with his voice? being on tour is hard, the voice must crack a lot and i cant even blame him
Is it just me? I feel like Yorke might be a little bit high during this performance lol he's slurring and bit ... loose? lol
You don't last this long in the industry putting out top tier stuff doing drugs... Just saying
@@dahahniwell that’s funny considering I’ve heard literal interviews with Thom where he mentions being high at some gigs
@@matthewsaul3533 high on what though? Marijuana isn't a drug
@@dahahni lol Perhaps that should've been your first question instead of jumping off half cocked to shoot me down lol
YAWN.
Terrible
How do you bring the camera in? That video quality! 🫠😍
Crazy as it is. It’s just a digital camera!
