  • R68 sets 2768-2770 and 2772-2774 transferred from Coney Island Yard to Concourse Yard, and are currently in service on the D line. The reason for this swap is most likely due to the incoming service increase for the D train. These sets used to belong to Concourse Yard, but were swapped to Coney Island Yard and back. In addition, R46 sets 5894-5896 and 6186-6188 have been transferred from Pitkin Yard to Coney Island Yard due to the rapid delivery of Kawasaki R211As for the A line.

Seen here are a few clips on the B line when they were assigned to Coney Island Yard, and one clip of 2768-2770 on the A line, which a B turns at 145th to become.

The B and D line operates from both Coney Island and Concourse yards ?

The B line operates out of Coney Island Yard, and the D line operates out of Concourse Yard
