"Legendary Voice" featuring JDM legends. The first is Isami Amemiya, who is a mogul of the industry and is also known as “God of the rotary engine” RE Amemiya “Ama-san”. We asked Ama-san, who is doing his usual job, various questions, such as old stories, car-making philosophy, and future plans.

修学旅行で北海道から自由時間に雨さん所へ、ちょうどシャンテがあった。雨さん優しくて北海道からわざわざ来たのかってステッカーやらなんやらいっぱいくれてそのせつはお世話になりました。ただいま60才。(笑)

PLEASE do more interviews like this. I would love to sit down with so many of the legendary tuners and hear all their stories and document them. We have a finite amount of time with them before their gone. Let them go completely grandpa telling stories.

雨さんの昔話(チーム影の解散話とか)に今では味わえない当時感をひしひしと感じるね…これからもRE雨宮を盛り上げ続けて欲しいと切に願うね。

I'm a 26 year old guy from France. If there is ONE man that I respect and admire the most, it's him. Mr Amemiya. If I had to chose someone else's life to live again I would chose his. Thanks for this video
RE雨宮って名前がまずかっこよすぎ、この世で一番かっこいい名前だわ
雨さんの生い立ち聞くとやっぱりスゴいなと思う。
ホットバージョンのFDいまだに忘れられないし、D1の二号機もカッコ良かった。
雨さんがまだエンジン組んでる姿、まさにレジェンド✨
FDに同じエアロを付けて乗っていました。
このエアロは総額で約100万（工賃込み）ほど、スリークライトがくっそ暗かった良い思い出。
今思えば若気の至りですね。
いつまでもお元気で７乗り回して欲しいなぁ
今も８は相場が安くてお金のない人にとっては気軽に乗れる最高の車ですよね
僕もまさにその８に乗って、お金がないながらも乗り回していじって楽しんでます
板金塗装のスキルがあれば最高に楽しそう…と思いながらもさすがに手が出せずいつまでも憧れのままです
オートサロンで握手していただいた大きくて硬くて暖かい手が忘れられません。
私は家族もできてRE雨宮仕様のFDを降りましたが、今でもいつかはまたFDに乗りたいと思ってます。
いつまでもお元気でロータリーを愛し続けてほしいです。
僕が小学校の頃にVHSのオプションがきっかけで知った雨さん。それ以来、雨宮FDの虜に。あれから20年以上たった今でも元気でロータリー引っ張ってる雨さん。本当にカッコ良すぎて泣けてくる！ 死ぬ前にいつか自分で運転してみたいな^_^

The RE Amemiya widebody is truly a timeless masterpiece introduced in the 2000s and still lives on forever.
My FD was built by his "rival" Fujita-san, but Ama-san stands on his own as the one true rotary legend. it was an absolute honor to run into him at 2014 WTAC, and he was so kind to sign my Mazda hat. Fantastic to see him still going strong at 77!

I will never forget the day i meet RE Amemiya san at Tokyo Auto Salon 2017. i was teary eyed and smiling ear to ear, got so much merch and autographed goods. Being a FD and FC owner i still want to learn more about them! Great interview Option Video and THANK YOU!

RX-7はプアマンズ・ポルシェだったんだと思う。それが雨宮さんの手に掛かりポルシェをぶち抜くシーンを作る。小型軽量ハイパフォーマンスのロータリーエンジンの本質が鮮烈と共に世界中に拡がった瞬間があった。それは今でも消える事はなく、RX-7とロータリーエンジンはいつまでも語り続けられ、今も走り続ける。

15年ほど前に近所のオートバックスでRE雨宮のイベントがあって、
スタッフらしきおじさんが気になるからよく見たら雨さんだった。
見た目は普通のおじさんだけどデモカーのFDはかっこよかったのは鮮明に覚えてる。

Mr Amemiya deserves an hour or two interview like this. He has so many stories to tell, with all the cars he created, how tuning was and changed throughout time, GT racing etc. And he's not going to be with us forever

At first I'm so excited watching this videos. Japanese channel are usually deep and comprehensive when they story about automotive.
But this video is only skin deep story telling. Tastes just like an appetizers, no meat.

何十年前の車なのに、今でも普通にカッコいい。カスタムがセンスが抜群ですよね。知らない人が見たらノーマルかのような綺麗な仕上がり。
