Dressed for comfort, I ventured into the beautifully preserved grounds that are rich with dazzling details-it truly felt like an artist’s home. Jim Thompson, famously known for revitalizing the Thai silk industry, mysteriously disappeared in the 1960s during a trip to Malaysia. 👀 I have my theories about someone being after his fortune, but that’s just my take!
Inside, I snuck in a few videos to give you all a glimpse of the antique Thai house-it's a blend of exotic style and coziness, much different from homes in the West. Thai silk, by the way, is a traditional handwoven fabric known for its shimmering beauty and intricate patterns.
