My daughter loves her Hedgehog, moved up from the Strider 14X with the pedals. I threw a 14T sprocket on the flip flop hub and this helps greatly with flat road riding. With the 16T she was out pedaling it rather fast. I upgraded the seat, pedals and grips with the SDG kids ones, so she's all pinked out and rocking true composite pedals.
She's almost tall enough to move up the Polygon Relic 20" I grabbed used locally :)
The flip flop hub is a great unique handy feature
Would you recommend the 14T? Im thinking of getting the 13T but concerned about getting up small hills when hitting up green trails with my 5 yr old.
@@shreddy3447 I don't recall it being an issue with hills, once they get used to the snake hear their little legs didn't really seem to know the difference. Any hill she could do with the 16T she could do with the 14T.

@@shreddy3447 for sure, anything to help her the little ones out riding. And it's really not that hard to flip the wheel back over to the 16T if needed. My daughter is now on a Meerkat that has Stans wheels and XT brakes 😆 at 6yrs old
