Still, it felt as if I had to wait centuries for this game to launch but the wait was worth it😍

Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus really humanizes Kratos. And much needed backstory of his past and family and the most emotional out of all the games.
The sister you fought in this episode, in myth, is actually supposed to be the most beautiful of them all, so it is very humorous that they made her the most hideous.
GOW3 is often referred to as the best god of war. It is absolutely insane. Cant wait to see it!
We been hyping it up since he started the first 1 that I think the hype is off the charts but good thing GOW3 delivers it.
It is great, but GoW 2 wears the crown.
The dude at the end with flaming hair is Hermes, and here is a story in the GOW universe that takes place during GOW 2.
This is not in the games but it was produced by the developers, so it's not spoiling anything.
Hermes noticed Kratos being alive and warned Zeus, but Zeus thought Hermes was full of it and took away his god title, and gave it to his sister Iris(who is not in game). It was when Poseidon sent the kraken(the boss after killing the last Spartan) that Zeus noticed that Kratos was indeed alive, and gave Hermes his status back.
Such a minor yet interesting story that more people need to know about.

@@isaacmendes1926 My opinion on that is that any material created by the developer is cannon. Whether or not it is part of a game is irrelevant.

I've never heard this! Very interesting. It explains why Zeus never tried to stop Kratos in his quest and why the Kraken appears at last minute. Cool stuff.
Don't underestimate the spin off games, they're good and one of them is competing for the best in the series with GOW 3, story wise imo

so they're mainlined except for GoW: Betrayal which is an actual spin-off since it doesn't contribute much towards the over-arching story of GoW.
there is no better cliffhanger than this ending. I remember playing GoW 2 on PS2 in my childhood, when i've beat it, i had to wait 4 years to play GoW 3. I had no PS3😔

One cool foreshadowing is when Gaia has a flashback to the great war, when Zeus unleashes his "stormy wave" you see all the titans lit up indicating that Kratos has succeeded in his mission.
If this is what you call the "GREATEST" ending, you're about to be blown away at what GoW3 is going to be serving you
that gow 1 and 2 version of kratos nothing in terms of anger , in 3 you're gonna see the most angriest and brutal kratos ever , devs just broke the insanity level on that game
I love how METAL these first 3 games are haha. You should play GOW 3 on normal difficulty. The flow of this game was better than the first one cus you weren't getting stuck for crazy periods of time on a few rooms imho. Gotta play these games for the first time on full adrenaline instead of the tedious nature of the harder difficulties

2nd EDIT: Trust me, you are not done blurring. Also, you should try GOW 3 on hard. Most of the game is doable on hard, there are some nasty sections, but those feel hella satisfying after beating 'em.

Hey man quick tip for the 3rd game. Try using the other weapons more frequently. They're a lot more useful and powerful in the GOW 3 than the first 2, especially when upgraded.

Super excited for God of War 3, and of course the newer ones. I’m very happy to hear you’ve already grown so attached to Kratos, goes to show that it was definitely the right move to play the original trilogy first. 2018 doesn’t hold any punches when it comes to the emotional moments, and I don’t think they’d land very well if you hadn’t played these first.
And I think you can choose either difficulty for 3, you are experienced enough to handle hard for sure. But normal is equally fine, it’s not like this is a dick measuring contest, we just want you to enjoy your time playing!
12:15 because of these cutscene, Sparta is actually safe now because kratos didn't let Zeus go to Sparta when he fought him, and that means the spartan warrior is also safe now

One thing I would strongly suggest for 3 is that you try out all the weapons. I know you'll always stand for the Blades, but GoW3 has the best weapon roster in the series, they're all equally satisfying and complex.
As someone who played GOW 1 and 2 I was waiting for remarkable parts. Since I've never seen GOW3, I can't wait for u to play it.

Probably the most hype ending to any game ive played. I already know You'll love god of war 3.
As for difficulty, I'd say GOW 3 is a bit easier than 1 and 2, so you would probably be fine in hard mode. That being said, when I played on normal and it kinda just felt right.
GoW 2 is also a fair bit easier than the first one.

When you start God of War 3, make sure you don't skip the boot up sequence that plays before the main menu. The best intro in all of gaming plays. Honestly, I don't know if you even can skip it the first time you boot the game up but it's better to be safe than sorry.
Dude, it's more being on the journey with you than it is what game you're playing at the time. Your reactions to the plot twists, endings, etc are pure gold; if we could bottle up your joy and amazement and sell it, the world would be a better place!

Even when atlas was talking about the great war you saw titians disappear and they didn’t got affect by blade of Olympus blast as the thing around them appeared was this(kratos taking them back at time) this tells you what was that electric thing around them back then when zeus used olympus blade blast. (Even gaia said “we have been expecting you ghost of Sparta)

GOW 2 was also my first game, i was playing it when i was 4 and i also finished it multiple times, now i have GOW 1 and 2 and the spin offs downloaded on a emulator that i found and i still play them whenever im in school.
