Keane uses a gun with seven chambers, so that Garcian would assume, after five rounds, that there was one bullet left and his only options were to shoot himself, or to kill the President. That being said, it's a brilliant metaphor on SUDA51's part for there to be a gamble - from the very start, it's ridiculous that either party could deliver their end of the gamble - in a fair game, that is.
I like how everything Ben Keene says in this scene is Pseudo intellectual bull shit. But the game of Russian roulette is necessary to show how desperate the Japan people are.
Most revolvers only hold six bullets, and from the look of it, losing this particular game was finding the one chamber with the bullet, since I don't think either of them planned on dying. Keane was trying to cheat, since most revolvers only have six chambers, whereas his had seven. He thought he could trick Garcian into thinking the sixth chamber held the bullet, meaning he'd lose, but Garcian was on to him. That's why he said "You can't fool me".
There should be a movie about this game. They should have Garcian played by Denzel Washington or something I don't know, make a goddamn movie, I'll be the first to watch.

Whats kinda cool is that Garcia only pulls back the Hammer...if im right on Revolvers, they only spin their Chamber when pulling the Trigger, so you are on the save side as long as you pull back the hammer, after your opponent survived. Rofl
*spoiler alert* Garcian went bozo when he was a kid at that school that was riging the elections of every president and offed all of the smiths at a hotel and then killed harman by puting him in the safe right next to the guy who just shot himself and 4got he did it then pretended to be every member of the smith org. and caryed all of there weapons in his case, the story was vary shadowy and intricut i thought it was awesome
I don't get it. If Garcian loses doesn't that mean game over. Unless, Garcian is immortal like the others. This game did not make any sense at all. It was probably one of the strangest and creepiest games ever. Has anyone played No More Heroes? Is that game just like this?

I read that Suda 51 is thinking about or decided to make a sequel to no more heroes for the wii, and he's also making new a game for the xbox360, im still looking for info on this, i love no more heroes and killer7 looks awesome

It's more or less a metaphoric game. At this point Garcian gives a damn about politics, he only visits the school to get clear with his own past. Maybe Garcian just kills the Director to gain access to the hidden passage behind this room but to him it appears like they play a game of luck(which looses it's complete meaning since Garcian already knows he wont loose.) I guess the scene means that even if you control politics you can'T control the people.

@gatotsu911 Odd you say that, I think all three are good at what they do. It's kinda hard to compare them, seeing as how they have different approaches to their games and have different artistic styles. But I gotta agree with you, Suda is quite the artist in a age of a creativity drop in games.
