The jump from NG to NG+ in this game is huge. Probably the biggest in any Souls game. I actually think that you aren't truly done beating the game until you beat NG+. It is like a completely new experience. Thank you for your comment.

Brilliant guide. Just got the Dozer Axe, Needle of Eternal Agony, Morion Blade and Scraping Spear to complete all weapons in the game. It helped I am already on NG+7 so already had all the stones ready. Once again, brilliant guide!
I recently started playing this game and I’m SO upset that I used the boss souls. I had no idea you can use the souls to make spells and weapons. So now I’m thinking of starting over.
Starting over is definitely a possibility, but you can also get the souls again in NG+ if you don’t want to lose the character. Lol bought this game last week. Thankfully I am not far in and Haven't killed the flame boss yet. Cause I have already used the souls of Phalanx, Tower Knight, The Spider and the Blue Dragon for souls... And I would have used his too had I not decided to click this video. I've recently started playing the remake on my PS5. Never played a souls-like game before. It is indeed very challenging; but I absolutely loved it... I'm currently struggling with the Armoured Spider yet. Pretty cool to see the amount of unplayed worlds I've yet to discover.

I fucked up the Uchigatana cause I had it +8 and Ed gave me the option to upgraded it in special way, but I hadn’t enough souls at the moment and just upgraded it to level +9 thinking that it didn’t matter the number and later I could do the change, but no…. Now I just have a normal one, which I still love it but with the frustration of messing up things!!! Same with the bow!!!🤦🏾
That is one of the most annoying things about the Demon’s Souls system. Exact levels and, if you mess up, you need to start the weapon upgrade from scratch. Hopefully you have better luck in the future. Thank you for your comment.

I really thought there would be much more diversity with the movesets. That was my biggest problem with des, thought they might have fixed that for the remake. Shame.
Completely agree. Moveset and weapon diversity suffers at time. I personally am a fan of Ultra Great Swords, yet there is only two of them. It is definitely something that shows the primitive side of the game and how much it evolved to be where it is currently at. I appreciate your comment.
Just beat the first boss, the game plays so clean and is beautiful. The game certainly has it out for you 😅! I'm used to armored core 6 and sekiro but all from games have their learning curves but i think that's what makes beating it makes you feel so good, like you have to learn all the nooks and crannys of the game to be able to really beat it. Kinda like life put in the effort youll be ite.
I am not sure about the Makoto, i have not really used it much. But the Blueblood Sword is a straight sword that really favors Magic enchant, so it's definitely good. Wow, i never play the remake but i played the hell out of the og. I have to say, bluepoint ruined the kris blade design. As someone how lived in indonesia, where kris blade originated, this is a total let down for me.

@@issi529 I will be honest with you. They are all difficult the first time, specially if you do not have a lot of Souls experience. It takes time to get used to the mechanics and the different enemies. In the same way, as you gain experience, it becomes easier and easier. Souls games are test of conviction, in a way. It rewards repetition and not giving up. But you will die. You will be frustrated. And you will feel that it is too hard. If you are able to push through that, you will discover a world of constant improvement and satisfaction. In my opinion, Demon's Souls is the easiest of Souls games. This is due to the limitations of its aged engine. Enemy AI is not as good and Bosses have limited movesets. But it does have the World Tendency system which, also in my opinion, is very annoying. I hope that this helps you. I love this series and I would be delighted to hear that there is one more player conquering the Souls.
There are a lot of unique weapons that are very good, but many mundane weapons are some of the best in the game. You can win with anything. Good luck and thank you for your comment.

The only thing that I can think of is that you did not give Ed the Flamelurker Soul to unlock advanced smithing. Were you able to give that soul to him? Thank you for your comment.
The boss weapons will show up at Ed’s when you have the corresponding Boss Soul and correctly upgraded weapon in your inventory. For example: You need the Lead Demon Soul and a Short or Winged Spear +7 in order for the Scraping Spear to show up. Hope this helps. Thank you for your comment.
Actually all you have to do to get brand is to beat garl and Astria.. after that you can simply touch the archstone and warp right back to where you are standing. You can then go back to where u initially caught Garl and his black phantom will be there. You do need to be pwwt tho.

That is correct. If you kill the blacksmith, he is gone for the whole cycle, until you move on to the next NG+. I recommend that you kill him at the very end of your playthrough, or that you get the weapon some other way. I appreciate your comment.

I wish it was better, because it looks fantastic. The damage it deals is alright, but its weight is catastrophic. There are better options that deal less damage with less weight. Also, no scaling. Literally, a Crushing Great Axe deals more damage than this weapon, weighing like 12 less units. It is a shame. Thank you for your comment.
I have compound shortbow +9 , Will this stiil work for lava bow ? I have given the searing demon soul and have hard demon soul but I dont get the lava bow upgrade at all
Unfortunately, no. You need the weapons at exactly +7. If you go over, you lose the opportunity of getting the boss weapon. You will need to get another bow to EXACTLY +7 in order to get the option. It is very inconvenient. Thank you for your comment.
This is a good question. If you are talking about the Dozer Axe, you need to have a +6 weapon to make it. A Great Axe +7 means you went over. The solution here is to get any other applicable weapon to +6 and make the Axe. Thank you for the comment.
Yes. You can drop most items for other characters to pick up. Weapons, armor, etc. There are a few exceptions like: you cannot drop rings or ceramic coins. Thank you for your comment.

Good question. The answer is no. No matter what weapon you use to create a Boss Weapon, the result will be the same. It's just about having more options so, in case you don't want to spend that Uchigatana, you can use any other.

What happens if you leave patches alive? I killed him and all I got was a stupid ring that I already had
I think I got the broken sword from a random drop and discarded it thinking it was useless.

@@issi529 I will be honest with you. They are all difficult the first time, specially if you do not have a lot of Souls experience. It takes time to get used to the mechanics and the different enemies. In the same way, as you gain experience, it becomes easier and easier.
Souls games are test of conviction, in a way. It rewards repetition and not giving up. But you will die. You will be frustrated. And you will feel that it is too hard. If you are able to push through that, you will discover a world of constant improvement and satisfaction.
In my opinion, Demon's Souls is the easiest of Souls games. This is due to the limitations of its aged engine. Enemy AI is not as good and Bosses have limited movesets. But it does have the World Tendency system which, also in my opinion, is very annoying.
I hope that this helps you. I love this series and I would be delighted to hear that there is one more player conquering the Souls.

There are a lot of unique weapons that are very good, but many mundane weapons are some of the best in the game. You can win with anything. Good luck and thank you for your comment.

How do you drop items from inventory that you want to trash???? There is nothing that explains this.
In order to get rid of items, you have to “discard” them. Go to you inventory, select the item you want to get rid of, and from the menu, select “discard”. The item will be destroyed permanently.

The boss weapons will show up at Ed’s when you have the corresponding Boss Soul and correctly upgraded weapon in your inventory.
For example:
You need the Lead Demon Soul and a Short or Winged Spear +7 in order for the Scraping Spear to show up.

Actually all you have to do to get brand is to beat garl and Astria.. after that you can simply touch the archstone and warp right back to where you are standing. You can then go back to where u initially caught Garl and his black phantom will be there. You do need to be pwwt tho.

That is correct. If you kill the blacksmith, he is gone for the whole cycle, until you move on to the next NG+. I recommend that you kill him at the very end of your playthrough, or that you get the weapon some other way. I appreciate your comment.

The Dozer axe looks like a smaller silver version of Escanor's axe.
I wish it was better, because it looks fantastic. The damage it deals is alright, but its weight is catastrophic. There are better options that deal less damage with less weight. Also, no scaling. Literally, a Crushing Great Axe deals more damage than this weapon, weighing like 12 less units. It is a shame. Thank you for your comment.
I have compound shortbow +9 , Will this stiil work for lava bow ? I have given the searing demon soul and have hard demon soul but I dont get the lava bow upgrade at all
Unfortunately, no. You need the weapons at exactly +7. If you go over, you lose the opportunity of getting the boss weapon. You will need to get another bow to EXACTLY +7 in order to get the option. It is very inconvenient. Thank you for your comment.

This is a good question.
If you are talking about the Dozer Axe, you need to have a +6 weapon to make it. A Great Axe +7 means you went over. The solution here is to get any other applicable weapon to +6 and make the Axe.

Does it matter what weapon we use for Crafting The Boss weapon? For Example, If I use *Claws +8* as a material for *The Large Sword Of Searching* will it be as strong as If I used A *Uchigatana +8* Instead?
Good question. The answer is no. No matter what weapon you use to create a Boss Weapon, the result will be the same. It's just about having more options so, in case you don't want to spend that Uchigatana, you can use any other.
