Good review confirms my decision to buy one and then another as a back up. My views on the racquet are similar to yours re racquet speed control and power.
Hello Thank for this great review. Can you please tell us about your feel on this rackets - HEAD Gravity MP compare to HEAD Graphene 360+ Speed MP what is the majors difference ? After having made the 2 reviews which of these two rackets is the easiest to play you think and why? Also Last questions are these two rackets good rackets for hitting with spin but also for hitting flat shot ? I hesitate a lot between the two Thank you
Hi, thanks for the review, how do you compare this new Speed MP to the Gravity MP in term of playability and manoeuvrability please? Is there a huge difference despite the higher swingweight of the speed?
@@Le-Chuck Well to be honest I'm little bit regretting buying the Speed MP, already it's causing some elbow and wrist problems. But that's also because of my mishits. The Gravity is more comfortable. I am now using a Therabar to help my elbow/wrist problem and really trying to focus on clean hitting.
Thx. I quit pure strike 100 for arm problems and found the new ezone 100 to be good for my arm and shoulder for the last months. This week i tried this speed mp beside the yonex. I really played with the speed (lynx) but a lot of hard soreness (wrist, arm, shoulder) went back these last days. So I return on the ezone now. Ra is higher but it seems mx40 and VDM do the job...
Thanks for the great review. Is it really worth upgrading to this from the regular HEAD GRAPHENE 360 SPEED MP, or just customize the original? Thanks again.
Hello which string do you think it will be the best fit on this racquet and why, feel and playabilty duration, ALU Power 16L, Head Hawk 17, Head Lynx 17 or babolat rpm blast ? thank
I’m from the Philippines so we don’t have the luxury to test a tennis racquets first before purchasing it. We usually order online. I’m currently using Blade V7 16x19 (purely in stock form) strung with Luxilon 4G rough @ 52 lbs and I love it overall. I’m planning to have this racquet. What’s your advise?
I have the Speed X MP (limited edition) I am going to add 5 grams total at 10 and 2 to help with stability and the upper loop you mention. Do you think this will bring it closer to a MP and Pro blend? What differences did you notice with this MP and the previous MP? Just more comfortable? Thank you
Hi bro, nice video again! I just love the playing clips u add in thr end. How would u compare the power level and comfort factor for this 360+ speed mp to the wilson clash?
How does this racquet compare to the new Yonex Ezone Tour? I loved the stability of the Tour, maybe a little lead added in the handle to make it whippier.
thx for the reviews, i'm able to buy the previous version 360 mp for about half the price of this one. I already have a clash 100, but want to try something else. I know the previous 360 mp is stiffer than the clash. Coming from pure drive, which gave me a lot of balls flying out. I like to hit fairly heavy forehand winners with medium topspin but backhand fairly flat (work in progress). Should I go for it and buy a 360 mp (previous not 360+)? also would it make sense multifilament with this? i wear a thing on elbow have had overerxtension before from squash, and generally worn down rotator cuff from 40 years rackets, when stiff feel it on serves sometoimes.
Hi, on flatter shot is not bad but lacks a bit on control, this racquet works better with a bit of spin, not too much. It lacks in feel, control is good and gives a sweet plush feeling. Backspin is not low, is more a defensive backspin, good sidespin. On the serve is a beast
Would you change to a leather grip on this? what are thoughts on that? would the added weight and the increase in HL balance make it play closer to the pro?
Hellow, I am currently using the head graphene 360 2019, and went to the store to check out the new version. I compared both rackets and to my surprise they have slightly different frame shapes. I measured them, and the new version is narrower and longer (head shape). Can you please explain that? How come nobody is talking about that? Cheers ernie
Dagmar Karlsson power level is similar, but Head has MUCH better feel. And Head is also more forgiving. Plough and precision are better in pure strike.
Eduardo Souza depends on your preferences, game style, ability, etc. speed will likely give you more pop and forgiveness on off-center shots. Pure strike will give you a more controlled launch angle. I definitely feel more connected to ball with new Speed. But it’s really how you serve that will determine the answer to your question
Really good review thank you Jonas. Definitely makes me want to demo this frame...23mm beam typically turns me away as a bit too thick. Worth giving a test run it seems regardless. I've noticed lately you've really been enjoying Head Lynx. Have you found any real difference between the colours - tension maintenance or power differences perhaps? Think I may buy a reel, I can just see its gone on special out here. Cheers. 🎾🎾🎾
I am currently playing the Gravity Tour and I am looking at the Speed MP to switch to. The reason is I lack power often on the Gravity Tour but nevertheless it is a fantastic racket. Do you have some thoughts on comparing the Speed MP with Gravity Tour. What would I expect? Thank you. Great reviews!
How is Speed MP vs Prestige S? You mentioned once the Prestige S and Tour is not a precision weapon like the MP.more in no mans land. when you talk about control/ power is the Prestige S more like the Speed MP?
Hallo Tennisnerd, What do you think of isospeed black fire string vs. Babolat rpm power vs. Solinco hyper g in the 2019 pure strike 100? I try it all 3 Strings. Can't decide all 3 are good. Thanks for a answer. Please keep it up
Hi Jonas, I'm wondering how this racquet compares to the Head Graphene 360+ Speed MP, which I just demoed today and really liked. What would you say are the important differences between the two?
@@parmenides89 I actually made the switch around march last year and can say I am super happy with the Speed MP. It is a little less forgiving and a bit harder to swing than the pure drive. It also gives you a bit less spin I would say. But you get great power and plow through, good feeling at contact and good control! Also it is more arm friendly.
Hi, very good review!! With flatter shots how does the Mp behaves? Compared with a Pure Aero could I have more control with the Mp on flatter shots/few spin shots? Maybe adding some gr? Of course I use a bit of spin when I hit the ball, but I also like doing some flatter shots from the baseline. Thanks!!
That is a really good question and the answer is yes. I did suffer from instability when I used it against a Futures level player in a match. In that situation I would have preferred the Pro for sure!
I like to hear too, i tested prostaff 97L v13 and really liked it, couldn't test the speed mp but I ended up buying the speed mp because i believe its a more rounded racquet.
Tennisnerd and the french guy over at Team-Tennis are by far the best racquet reviewers on youtube.
Thank you!!! I’ve been waiting for this!
I love the speed line. thanks for the review
This review is totally on point. This was also the case with the previous version of the Speed, the MP was better than the Pro.
Been using the 360 for 2 years and is my go to racquet but just purchased this update this past week all strung up ready to use cant wait
Enjoy!

How would you compare this to the gravity MP, in terms of power, touch/feel, and spin?
I have tried both. Immediate difference is that the Gravity MP is more flexible/comfortable. Speed MP is little more stable.
