Tackling a backyard project can seem intimidating at first but taking it on one step at a time will make it less overwhelming. Setting your budget is the best way to start planning your project and we are here to help. Because design options are unlimited, the worst thing that you can do is fall in love with a design that you can’t afford. This is why establishing a budget prior to meeting with a pool company is extremely important.

Designing your project is a lot of fun and is probably the most exciting thing that you will do during this process. But it’s important to work within the confines of what you can afford and not let the fun of designing put you in a bad financial decision.
100% right .... Ask about electricy/gas charges based on your pool location in your home. You need the pavers, concrete, furniture, etc ..If you are looking for small pool ...$100k appx

Just imagine how many more sales and therefore overall profit these pool companies would make if they made these more affordable to the average middle class.
About how much will you save having a new pool built in a new construction home where the backyard is just leveled dirt?
When the time is there, i will have a pool too, because the only sport i like is swimming. Now i already have the space for it. It will be on the south side of the garden, parallel with the house but with a 12 meter garden between it. I would like it to be covered with a sliding cover where i can walk in. That way, i can swim in the autumn, winter and spring too. The pool will be 4 x 6 meter and with an walkable surface around it. Then a poolhouse looking west, overlooking the water. Right now, a cow stable is still standing there. I live in the very beautiful Belgium Ardennes ( Battle of the Bulge area). Now i know how much the pool costs but i do not know how much such a folding/sliding construction costs.
