I visited Del Mar quite a bit during my time in San Diego in 2009. I ate at Jake’s quite a bit and it was good. However, my favorite place if I can remember was called L’Auberge or just Auberge and I think it was near Jake’s. Have you been there? It was a very atmospheric, maybe even a Romantic type of restaurant with a piano inside.
Love your videos, I feel like I’m the one zooming along on a skateboard! Never knew SAN Diego had so much to see and do. Can’t wait to travel again. I’m watching from the UK. Xxx
I grew up in Del Mar ... Excited to see what Jay has to share! "Where the Turf Meets the Surf in Old Del Mar." ~ Bing Crosby 🏖️ 🐎 😎 More history of this beautiful little beach town would be great, if you ever do a Part Two 🙂
Okay, so my recommendations for inland neighborhoods to check out: North Park, South Park, University Heights, Normal Heights...pretty much all around downtown! Oh, and you have to check out Stella Jean's Ice Cream in University Heights coz their ice cream is BOMB.
Haha my board is perfect but im getting cocky and want a faster one. I should be satisfied with this one lol. The pizza was good, but theres better around town!
There is a door next to jimmy O’s that leads to a hallway full of historic Del Mar pics, some from the 1800s, some from golden age of cinema actors and actresses, neat stuff
hmm, you're pretty close to Le Bambou!! (Del Mar) It is like up the road and then turn left then up past the gas station to the right. (: Yeah, I suck at descriptions but it's pretty precise directions. xD Anyways Le Bambou is amazing!! It's uh..Vietnamese food!
@@Jaycation of course! And they recently just added pho to the menu.. I like the other food they serve there as well ~ ~ esp the iced Vietnamese coffee and flan.
Check out the Del Mar Heights Video and a visit to One Paseo. WATCH:-----> ua-cam.com/video/NLapyxZYpko/v-deo.html
