How can I make vlc my player on kodi for my firestick. I only found a desktop solution. I do not like the rewind/fast forward options and subtitles with the factory kodi player :(
i've been using vlc for quite some time but lately it seems i'll need to find a replacement. VLC has some serious issues with updating/refreshing folders with available movies and it's also quite unfriendly with picking subtitles. It's a shame tbh
I don't know why but VLC just never works right for me it always has odd issues, like for example it would open my videos with a dub for ages then all of a sudden just started making the video a green screen when it opened or another I have had is the converting features will work for a while just then not work anymore, its a shame because VLC is a great player but it is the only player that constantly gives me issues so I don't rely on it much anymore. I go between players I like, right now for me it is Potplayer which is my favorite, it took a while to set it up as the colouring was odd but now I have it right the quality/sharpness beats every other player I have used by a long shot and I haven't had any odd issues with it like VLC, its cool everyone has difference preferences and experiences, good video and comparision!
VLC I like because many RD links start in another language w/subtitles and on VLC I can easily adjust within 3 seconds. But it always freezes and takes forever to skip through or go back a little. MX if I rememeber doesnt let me adjust auido/subtitle settings as easily but maybe the max does.
Maybe this is a little far fetched but.. Due to the lack of vertical lens shift of my projector, is there a player or any way to shift the active pixels of the video to the bottom or top of the screen? I mean its like rotate or flip it doesnt seem hard to be done. That way i can have one bigger black bar on the top of the screed and mask it and at the same time the say 2.35: 1 image will be lower. thanx
VLC just constantly stutters, breaks audio and just over all doesn't work 😭 idk why. Just playing any video especially the same one through my default video player plays it better and clearer than VLC.
I like vlc but i have issues of a streaming movies randomly starts over from the beginning. With mx player i have to always sync the audio. Its a good thing mx has that adjustment. I prefer mx because it doesnt buffer nowhere near as much. I do have to sync the audio but i believe that can be addressed with some device tweeking
Usb stick formatted NTFS with MKV files es file explorer sees the drive and the files when I open file from es file explorer and choose to open with MX PLAYER it plays normally, but when if I try to open and run the file directly from MX player it says that there is no videos in this folder can you help me with this? Update I deleted ES File Explorer and I download an FX file seemed to work and fix all my problems I was having
Absolutely..that 4K content is no difference than going to the movies..and if you have a Projector you gonna enjoy it even more if you want to have the Movie experience with your family..you not gonna regret it trust me
GA- I'm not a tech guy so I'm usually fumbling around with a lot of this. These are not for enhancing ur total streaming watching. They are just for movies 🎬?
I watch a lot of stuff in Spanish, all the players I have used can play external audio alongside the video, which would require an audio track in Spanish for the video, the process is a little different depending on the player so you might need to search it up to get it to work or if the video already has Spanish as an option you can change the language in the audio stream settings of the player, I don't know if this is helpful to you at all.

Been using VLC player for 2 years. Works great.

MX player keeps returning to TV guide screen after a minute! Using as external player for IPTV Smarters Pro. Is there a setting?

Do they support Dolby VIsion and Atmos ? Or they are stayed back to the Past?
Mx player stops during stream. Is it caused by the app or the player it self?

Likewise. It's true use your interface doesn't help matters when you're trying to program the settingd for the app

Recently got 4kmax and VLC works better now. Had to adjust some internal settings within the player.

sometimes the projectors have a feature
Yes, the ad’s annoying, though your honest and clear layman approach more than compensates, gotcha a new subscriber 👍
New videos are much better :)
You need more than a media player to stop buffering your equipment plays a big part
Yes I said that in the video, internet / device play a huge part

Thank you for posting what you resolved in the end.
how do you get vlc player to play media files in raw like BDMV Files and ISO files with menu screen ?
What is the beat playing in the background of the intro?
What’s the best for live tv?!
i use the android player on Rapid Streamz
MX player, recently I had problem downloading subtitles since upgrading to new android platform in nvidia shield.
Mx is fastest and use the least power. Especially with the hw+ mode.
I downloaded vlc for my Android tv box. It plays the audio but the video is just a black screen. No issues when I switched to MX player.
yup I have had similar issues in the past
Tried to down load Vlc, for Android 8.1, is this version not compatible, ideas
Depends on application
I’ve had success with both
Buffering is nature of the beast of streaming
I installed video player and it's not working. I can't watch movies..please help
i like vlc but yesterday it buffered horribly
I’ve always found Mx player to be the best
I know this is not a relevant question but I haven’t heard much lately about real debrid. Do you still recommend it? Is it worth getting?
I have it and love it
I have it as well and live it
I love it. For the money you can’t beat it. 👍👍

Is there any media player that has the ability to change the audio of the movies to Spanish
