My favorite line "We've got no jobs! We've got no food! Our pet's HEADS are FALLING OFF!" And, then there's the hot chili pepper scene with the ketchup and mustard. Hilarious!
I think my favorite line has to be, "Harry! Your hands are freezing!" in response to being choked precisely because Lloyd had extra gloves that entire time.
Best comedy movie of all-time imo. I can recite almost every line, I’ve seen it so much.

Fun fact that the producers proposed an alternate ending in which the characters actually got on the bus, but Jim Carrey refused to shoot this scene, feeling that the original version was much funnier. 🤣🤣🤣
It is funnier this way, but also still funny to think of alternate universe Harry and Lloyd being those lucky guys.
Another fun fact: John Hughes originally wrote the script, but he sold it to the Farrelly brothers and asked that his name be discredited… that’s insane! I just learned that recently too

It’s not easy to see, but if you look real hard right after the explosion in the background when Loyd runs the red light in the beginning of the movie, you can see a body flying through the air.

One of my favorite comedies ever. I loved this movie in the early 90's. Jim Carrey was one of my heroes and this movie was great. Jeff Daniels is just as funny in this too.
Fun fact: the studio didn’t want Jeff Daniels… the only reason he was in the movie was because of Jim Carrey. The reason the studio didn’t want Daniels was because they didn’t see him as comedian, but that’s the very reason Carrey wanted him… because he wasn’t a comedian, he was an actor. Carrey didn’t wanna comedian because he thought that another comedian would compete with him

This was a Farrelly Brothers film. They make a few great comedies. My favorites in this order Something about Mary, King Pin, Shallow Hal and The Heartbreak Kid (2007) not the original.

It suits you guys so well to watch comedies … so … if you take recommendations here in the comments, I have a pretty cool suggestion - you have to see “Just Visiting”, if you didn’t watch it already, that is … I could not watch that movie in one peace, I had to make use of the bathroom several times during the movie, from so much laughter.
It was not randomly I chose this day to watch you guys reacting - exactly one year ago (December 1st), I saw something in the background behind you, that gave me emotional chills, it almost made me cry … I think Marian knows what I’m referring to.

One of my favorite comedians from the 90's was Chris Farley. RIP. You guys should checkout his movies Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. Beverly Hills Ninja was alright, but I wasn't huge on the storyline.
Chris Farley only had his moments when he was funny, that was it.
The guy was so sad and tragic that it overshadowed his humor, the fact that the writers just made him out to be the “fat buffoon” was just heartbreaking. Tommy Boy was his only hit movie… he went way downhill after that. I personally liked Black Sheep better than Tommy Boy… but Beverly Hills Ninja was crap as well as Almost Heroes which was his last movie

For comedy you should watch The Naked Gun movies, which came from the same guys who did Airplane!

Hi Marian & Joy!😊 Be sure to watch the correct sequel "Dumb and Dumber To" (2014). There was another sequel before this where Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels were not in it. Jim Carey was married to the love interest in this film for a year. I lived in Colorado for about 10 years. Aspen is a rich town where celebrities are known to go skiing. After this the "Ace Ventura" films are my favorite Jim Carrey comedies. "Happy Gilmore" (1996) is my favorite Adam Sandler comedy. The movie you were thinking about Marian where the man pretends to be a baby is "Little Man" (2006) which stars the Wayans brothers. Great reactions to this classic Jim Carrey comedy, Kids!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
Adam sandler sucks… he is the biggest loser to ever make it in Hollywood. It blows my mind completely how over overrated he is. He’s the most overrated celebrity who’s ever lived

What I love is how everything they do turns out to be huge coincidence… the villains knocked on their door and when they look through the peephole they see him with the gun so they automatically assume that it’s because they didn’t pay the gas bill. So they refer to him as “gas man” when he has problems with gas because of his ulcer lol 😂

You've had this pair of extra gloves this whole time? Yeah, we're in the Rookies. I'm gonna kill you." That entire scene makes me laugh my ass off every single time I see it. The two movies that followed this movie weren't nearly as funny. This movie however is a classic comedy film that never gets old.

The only sequel was from 2014 when Jim and Jeff came back to reprise their characters. The main problem with it was they tried way too hard to be funny.
@@nsasupporter7557 The movies didn't work either cause they didn't follow the storyline of the prequel. Remember in the prequel Harry was raised by a single mother. Instead in the sequel Harry was raised by an Asian family. Which of course didn't add up. Also in the beginning of the sequel Harry says Mary's last name is Samsonite. When in the first movie both Harry and Lloyd know full well that her last name is Swanson.

But ya know the prequel wasn’t actually apart of the franchise, even though it was supposed to be if that makes sense. It wasn’t by the Farrelly brothers.
Yeah, they called her samsonite at first but later learned it was Swanson. Another flaw with the original movie was that it made us think that Lloyd couldn’t read, because he couldn’t read the newspaper yet he read “samsonite” just fine 🤔

1. I saw this first time on a plane. I'm saying to myself that it should be, "Stupid and stupider".
2. Awesome movie. You can't watch it without enjoying yourself.
3. Too bad Jim Carrey (a rich Canadian with bodyguards) turned into an anti-gun (2nd Amendment) puke🤮 and ruined his career.
4. The "Do you want to hear the most annoying sound in the world?" was ad lib. Their reactions were real.
5. They're 12 years old, and that's ok.
6. Best lines: "I thought the Rockies would be a little rockier than this". "That John Denver's full of shit man" 🤣 and "We landed on the moon"!🤣
