Well done documentary on Ammolite! I'm a life-long rockhound. Ammolite has always been a favorite! I mean, you combine a fossil with a gemstone, how could it not be? However, the Native American story of the buffalo stone and it's significance for them was truly fascinating and my favorite part of this video! I am so happy to see that the local tribe is able to still be blessed by Spirit through this sacred stone. May it always be so.
Love this, Brought tears to my eyes. I love this gem so much that I got one as my engagement ring to propose with. Nothing has been more beautiful to me than Ammolite.
Great doc! Looking forward to working with Ammolite soon!
I have a beautiful ring with ammolite in and it's stunning. I love it.
Have a beautiful fossil and rough/cab of ammolite; it is such a beautiful stone that has both prehistoric and native history to it. I’d absolutely hope to get a nice Ammolite fossil from Canada someday
I really enjoyed watching the history of Ammolite, now I know so much more about this precious stone. Really, really interesting to watch, thanks for posting this video.
Great vid been living here for years didn't know this, but I'm learning something new everyday. Thanks 🌎
Just Amazing and well done tks....
Great video on a distinctively Canadian gem!
I love ammolite and have a good collection. This is a great video. Thanks. I am curious about the song at the end; I just love it. Does anyone know the title? Thanks
wow, I learned so much! thank you
Does anyone know WHY these specific ammonite fossils are multicoloured? Like a molecular/geological explanation?
Suspected heat and pressure on certain species shells unique to a specific area. I live there and have collected a couple pieces.
Very interesting video👍These ammonites with ammolite are varnished and polished?
Or ammolite is polished without pre-lacquering?
Great Video!
Can Mark send me the recording of the song Buffalo Stone? it's a bop
Awesome gemstone but too fragile 😋
Only fragile in its raw state.
When treated and made into a triplet with a hard quartz cap you have a durable gemstone for use in jewelry.
A little glue with help
I've broken a few spectacular pieces haha. Need to be careful. Hard to piece back together.
This is a gamer moment
