I just bought one today, it'll be here in a couple of weeks. I'm not ashamed to say that, at 54 years old, this will be my first motorcycle. I'm hoping for good things and saving some money on gas for work. AND, some fun in between work.
I did get the carburetor from Amazon. I put a PWK 30 mm Flat Slide on my bike. I put a performance CDI for a CRF230 on it too. Better advance map and no rev limiter.
Seriously thinking about picking up one of these. Sound like it blows all the other 229cc chinesium 5-speeds out of the water. Please makes some more videos and how to's for any additonal mods you end up doing. Subscribed!
for the brake, cut the wires off flush with switch actuator at the reservoir, then take the two wires, strip the plastic off and connect the two together with a good connection. Test the headlight wires to find the hot wire that feeds the high beam, then wire it to the hot feed wire that goes to the headlight switch that is only active when the key is on,
I have 2022 Templar x 250. Assembled by powersports. Have not had a chance to go through everything to make it right. The chain is loose handlebars as well carburetor not good. @@oregontrailrider I was wondering how or what you did to the choke to get cable to hook up do I need to on screw it or get the black knob off. Not sure, can you explain? To a slow Washingtonian.
@@billschorzman3455 unscrew the choke cable assembly at the original carb with the nut that fastens it. unscrew the choke knob from the new carb with the nut that fastens it. now you can slide the choke cable assembly in and tighten the fastening nut to the new carb.
Just got mine out together 2 days ago been ripping a little in the fields ,the exhaust pipe gets red hot my guess is the lean conditions. . Do you know what size jet I should put in the nibbi. Or did you order the pe30 and keep the jet that was in it?
I have not been to shotgun creek with this one yet, only huckleberry flats. I did have a kayo k2 230 that I took to shotgun creek before this, and it did not have adjustable suspension and was a handful on anything but gravel roads.

Did you just cut the tip off for the spark arrestor install or disassemble the silencer? I am looking at the Fisch as well.
