PFoZ is an international internet based Led Zeppelin tribute band. We record and film our own versions of Led Zeppelin songs and post them to UA-cam for entertainment and educational purposes. Special guests include Professor Obs-Tweedle, keyboardists, the occasional rock star, and of course Nola and Zuzu.
We are:
Ivan Jakic - Guitar
George Fludas - Drums
Pete Etxenike - Bass
Not to be confused with The Zeppelin People's Front.
The ultimate Zep song. Bluesey walking baseline, drumming triplets, acoustic driven, Tolkien lyrics, Plant screaming, ethereal lead guitar. Has it all. Great cover.
Thanks very much
Thanks!
These guys are unreal. Its like finding bootleg Zep songs in HD audio. They capture the spirit of Zep like no others. Look forward to every release. True musicians all! Driving around today with this cranked up will make my day today! 😁
Thanks so much!
Thank you!!
Love how George included all the different tapping noise possibilities since nobody knows exactly how he did it. Sounds like drumsticks on the seat but who knows the variation.
Haha, well I actually used the little waste bin with the mallets
It’s been a long time since you guys Rocked n Rolled but in true Zep fashion you came back with a bash.
Thanks!
1:55 lol. When's the tour start? Damn, Pete, I thought that axe was going to spontaneously combust.
Pagey, I mean Ivan, that guitar solo about 4 minutes in is a blinder. Tai was smoking and I don't mean
a Camel filter either. George, I've got an empty Amazon box mounted on a snare stand I'll mail you, it's
tuned to Ramble On but goes out of tune easily.
I wish I had it sooner!! 🤣 Thanks, D!
Thanks very much!
Thanks DAG!
All you guys are very talented! Another excellent representation! Thanks for this
Thanks, Mark‼️
Thank you!
My theory is that tapping was actually two hand slapping on the butt of a cat. There's a video called "Spanking the cat" documenting this process.
😂🤔
Really enjoy your covers, well played, accurate, and authentic, exceptional.....
Any chance you would consider covering the solos from either of the following 2 Jimmy Page pre-Zeppelin songs, neither of which are on UA-cam...
Smile on Me -- @
Puzzles -- @
That has to be one of the best covers of Ramble On on UA-cam l.
Blown away!!
Thanks very much!
Flawless guys. That's all i gotta say.
First of all I need to pick my jaw up off the floor........ Everything about this song is perfection both the original and your take on it. And thanks for putting some of you into it with that end bit. HOLY!!!! Message for the bass player? You're my new hero. You ROCKED this song!!!!! I love all you guys. Thank you so very much.
Thanks for that!
Thanks very much!
To make the tapping sound, Robert Plant pulled down his pants and twisted his hips side to side very quickly.
😨
Did Led Zeppelin ever play this live? It occurred to me just then that they hardly (or never, to my knowledge) played this live! Why'd that be, I wonder? Great cover.
I assume they didn't because of the transition between acoustic and electric. They never played it live during their career.
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin Thought so. A shame :( They played it beautifully at the O2...
Wondering if you guys had ever considered writing original material in the Zeppelin style. You understand their music so well.
We talk about it, or maybe taking some old blues tune and playing it in a Zeppelin style.
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin if anyone can do it, you guys can. If i can come up with a blues song for you to consider ill send it along 😃
Beautifully done. I'm guessing Mr. Fludas is displaying at least some of the rumors, at least those of which I've heard over the last few decades, as to how Bonham produced the muffled 16th notes.
I tried to be clever....can you guess which one was actually used? 😁
@@BONHAMOLOGY Was it the actual drum sticks on the stool?
@@jeffmcelroy5437 That would be my guess too: the sticks on the stool.
@@howabouthetruth2157 agreed. drumsticks on a stool. I have also heard a phone book on a stool. :D
@@brian96597 No, I used the mallets on the little waste bin. I thought it sounded closest.😁
OMG, that was so great. I had goose bumps especially toward the end with the guitar solo. You guys are amazing. Give props to the old guy for the tapping too, he was right on time!
lol the old guy...
Haha!!! That's me....I am considered old by zoomer standards.
@@BONHAMOLOGY Sorry, I went back and paused it and can see it was you and not an old guy. Guess i saw the attire and glasses and those shots were in and out quick. I'm 53 myself so it probably was my old eyes at work, or not at work. Anyway, great vid and thanks for posting.
Thank you!
Hey, have you guys thought about covering As Long as I Have You? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cover of that yet!
Yeah, that’s on the agenda at some point.
Great job guys, we want more,!!!!!!😍
More to come! Thanks!
Singer's nailing it!
live soon?
That would be great!
Who are the 6 douches who gave this thumbs down? Great work. Great sound.
Thanks!
It’s bout time to take this show on the road ain’t it
Yes!!! I agree.
@@BONHAMOLOGY well if u do you better come to kentucky
Hope we can do that!
Jaw dropping! Thank you :)
Thanks!!
Awesome as Always Guys!!
So well done gents! The bass groove, the guitar solo, the vocals, and the incredible drumming, all spot on. My guess was The Professor was tapping on an empty Chicago deep dish pizza box! ;)
Haha, thanks!
One of my favourite Zeppelin songs!
Brilliantly played and sang!!
Thanks!
Thanks Tom!
F ing BRILLIANT!!!!
Excellent. Great job boys.

Bravo guys..........BRAVOOO!!! I also really dug the way ya put your own stamp on the outro with your own solo. Nice!
Thanks very much!
Tai killed it on this one!
Sure did!
Thank you Billy!!
Amazing!
Thanks!
That's how it's done kids!
Thanks!
I had to laugh at the professor (who very closely resembles a picture of my father in the early 60s) tapping on the drum case. All my brothers and sisters have been playing for many decades, on the rare occasions that we all get together, we get out instruments and jam. Ramble On is one of the songs we always play. We used to have our Dad (who once played harmonica on a record and on a NBC radio show a million years ago) do the tapping part on an empty guitar case. Playing Zeppelin songs is always fun, the hardest thing for group covering them is finding someone who can handle the vocals. You guys all do a great job, even the singer. The timing is superb and everyone has a "good ear", that about the highest praise I know for musician. Good luck in all your future musical endeavors.
Thanks very much!
You guys utterly killed it. The best!!
Beautiful! 👏👏👏
Thanks!
sounds amazing!
Thanks very much!
I just released a cover of D'yer Mak'er you guys might like.
Just watched it... excellent! Fool in the Rain and The Ocean covers you did were spot on.
I'll check it out!
@@NigelNaughton Thank you!
Nice job!
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin Thanks! You too!
Kept a lot of the good guitar parts secret but, don't blame the player. A lot of nuance there, takes some effort to actually play it right.
There’s a guitar cam if you want to only watch the guitar.
Whoa! I want one of those t shirts!!
