I bought Galaxy M31 exactly 2 years back. Within 6 months i started getting this issue. On a day it will restart automatically 2-3 times. But for the past 3 days, it is restarting more than 15-20 times!! I am not able to use my phone for even half an hour properly!! I am planning to buy a new one now.
Lesson learnt : NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PHONES !!!

My M51 is restarting automatically once in a day for a week time. It's really a great disappointment from Samsung products. Looks like Samsung is killing It's own customer base.

You are absolutely right! I'm facing the same issue and the technician from samsung didn't even looked at my phone and told the problem. I'm emailing them constantly all they can say is our "senior team" is going to contact but nothing happens.

You are correct. I have this problem and seems these models have mfg defect or purposely Samsung is releasing updates wherein phones slow down or get damaged.

I think ita a solve a problem reinstall old patch & downgrade a update.
Maybe solve a restated issue problem (mother board).
In last 2015 same issue my honor 6 phone, company are replaced a my phone within warranty.

My m21( 1.5 years old) is also getting restart automatically but not regularly once or twice in a day as you said!
That too recently only.
My gets restarted once or twice a week or month not daily

Motherboard issue is not only for Exynos 9611. Same issue in M51 & A52. Auto restarting and bootloop issues.

But not only in these devices many more devices in which mediatek and snapdragon processors are there facing the issues........and if this issue is occurring too much then why samsung is sleeping ?
I'm using F22 with mediatek g80.
No such issues occurred.

recently repaired my m21 having same issues..first day 1-2 restart 2nd day 5-6 3rd day 10-15 4th and 5th day 50+ 😂
service center said ram issue and replaced for 2800 inr.all went well... but after 2 weeks i am again having issues..this time phone don't restart but apps restarts when using...i checked with multiple apps.. if single then would be app issue.. but many apps restart time and again when using so I guess again something went wrong with motherboard.. faced problem after 18 months of purchase... and yes i did recent android 12 update 1-2 months ago.

Which is incorrect because I always update software after I charged it till 100%
We spoke loudly and one of the employees called us to the side and said to call the customer support number and say that my device got damaged because of the software update
We went home and called the support number which costs 3₹/min which I don't have any problem with and called it.
They kept us on hold for like 15 mins and so on until one guy responded back saying they will forward us to the supervisior and kept us on hold for another 10 mins , and after all that the supervisior said that after warranty you have to pay using your own money and said they can't do anything
At the end of the day they took 60₹ of call ballance which I don't mind at all and asked for 6000₹ to fix which also I don't mind paying but I didn't want to coz I think they just like stealing money of people and I'd rather switch to another device instead of using Samsung.

I found the solution of motherboard problem.
If you are on early stage like phone being restart 1-2 times in day then all you have to do is uninstall updates of android system webview and android system intelligence. And it's done.
It worked on my galaxy m31.

Thank God 😇🙏 My M31 is working superb👌👌 till date (2 years +). I have updated every single update samsung has released (One UI 4.1, Android 12) and my M31 is working perfect no hang or lag problems, nothing. I hope my Phone continues like this 🥰🤟

This problem Is sowing in every type of mobile phone when the phones software update is going wrong. Then many types of bugs & problem is sowing in mobile phone. So 1st know what is the right process of software upgrading or dont update your phone. Beacuse many people has no knowledge about this. 👍

It's TRUE, same problem, my m30s was dead on 4th oct 2022, mother board issue, samsung cstm care said rs 8000/- to change. I bought new phone, previous was completely dead.

I was having this issue then i factory reset then now its ok should i go to service center i using btw samsung f62
This is a real issue and earlier it was only limited to Exynos 9611 phones, but now m51, f62 and some random models are facing the same issue. The only solution is to mail on samsung ceo desk and coordinate with them to get free repair or discounted repair. Hope that samsung soon addresses the issue.

My F62 is facing auto restarts minimum 3 times per day. When enquired with customer care, they asked to check auto restart settings and also to try reset all settings. But even after all that it's keeping on happening. What should I do,

Recently I have updated Samsung M42 5G and am facing the same issues. Samsung offered a 25% discount in repair work (motherboard replacement). I denied the offer as it's a Samsung fault so I am not ready to pay a single rupee.

Hello guy's I was using samsung galaxy M31s mobile and was facing a issue like auto restart and many more, so thought to xchange the mobile and I have done it. If these issues are running in your device's so please xchanges your mobile's. I've been experienced with my old samsung M31s mobile. Now I am using samsung M53 5g, it's really a good and user friendly mobile you can go for it there are no issues camera quality is awesome, performance is upto the mark, battery can go for a day depending upon your usages. You get 2 yrs of Android update and 4 yrs of security patch updates. I'm really impressed with samsung galaxy m53 5g...

Mera F62 1 saal 6 din ke baad achanak switchoff hogaya. Fir kabhi switch on nehi hua. Service center visit karne ke baad pata chala ki motherboard kharab ho chuka hai.
Repair cost 11k - 12k baataa raha tha.
Maine repair nehi karaya.
Sabse buri baat ye ki Warranty khatam hone ke sirf 6 din baad ye kharab hogaya.

I visited service center and they told me to pay 8000 rupees. But I told them not to repair.

But the thing in case of my F41, I had not installed a single update as I came to know about this defect soon after purchasing the phone in Nov 2020. The OS was same Android that came with the phone. It started restarting on 2nd Oct 2023 and by 3rd Oct 2023, it was dead completely, no longer starts up.
I am using samsung F62 since 1 year. Not having any such issue. But previously update used to come every 3 months. But i received an update on 15th July, then again on 6th August then again on 17th August. I have latest updates installed. What is the reason of these 3 updates within 1 month. Hope my phone don't face any such issue of restarting. 😔
