Good luck with this one Phil! Looks nice and straight and most of the hard to find parts like wood seem to be present! Looking forward to updates, Cheers, Scott 👍
About time young man, youtube is getting really lame of late since the likes of you and Mr Wade have semi retired lol. Nice to see the SD1 loitering with intent also. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, it's been a while. I enjoy making the videos, I just don't have a lot of time. Haha, there's always an SD1 hanging around somewhere...wouldn't be the same without one! I might do the odd video on it in the future.
Thank you for putting some MK1 content on UA-cam. There simply isn't enough! My car is a 3.4 Manual O/D delivered new to Brysons Australia. It still retains all matching numbers, but it needs restoration in some parts. I can't wait to see how your car comes along. Good luck with it all. and most of all, enjoy the journey!
There's not a lot out there is there, even buying parts isn't easy as most of the big suppliers don't list the Mk1. Plenty to do on this one, and a tight deadline so lots more videos to come. Glad you're enjoying them!
Thanks! Regarding the wheels...I'm not sure. I was thinking perhaps body colour with a chrome spinner, so they'd look kind of like the black side I guess. I can't decide.

I worked on a 1966 daimler dart v8 light restoration iam 44 years of age
Nice! I do like the Dart, the V8 in those is lovely.
That looks really cool! I notice the wheels on one side are black and silver on the other. What colour are you thinking for the new wheels?
