Finally caught a SimpleFlips, Markass, Cilletix, PewnyPL, Jelledot, Dawnfinder, Nilbog, Awooo, Ricar, and Foxen stream. They collectively spent 3 hours navigating a round yellow man onto a robot ghost's cranium, then had a big sleepover on stream. Great entertainers they are.
And only three fell asleep! Wow! Much perform!

This game is heavily underrated. The soundtrack had no business being as robust and symphonic as it is for a Pac-Man game.
Pac-Man soundtracks in general are pretty damn great.
I totally agree! The soundtrack inspired me for years, I'm sad Simpleflips doesn't play the actual OSTs during his gameplays, otherwise it would've been even more blessed :')

It's okay, levels too long, bosses are boring, some levels don't challenge the player enough, like spamming trampolines at the forest level. It's not underrated but it's fun, though the first game is pretty legit, more enjoyment than the second game.
But the third game is the yikes zone.

I think these guys were just rushing too much, since if you play the boss slowly, it’s actually really easy. I also don’t think they knew they could ram into the teeth of the machine to damage it and relied entirely on the ground-smash thing. By far the most difficult boss in the game, but not as hard as these guys made it out to be

This is the one boss that will kill you if you slow down. You need to be quick to dodge his molten rocks, and get to the platform where he's waiting next to.

This game has great speedrun potential imo
it already has speedruns and an active community.
Who got over the gate the fastest?
Its a really good speedrun. Theres a 45 minute run with post commentary and it is actually crazy. In one of the volcano levels you roll thru the ground with invincibility and manuever thru invisible kill zones. Theres also a glitch to skip a 9 minute maze level. Its an amazing speedrun. Its only problem is that it has a 8 minute auto scroller
@@toontownveteran Are you talking about the end of Magma Opus where you're rolling down at various sections? I think they've just figured out where you can go to skip certain sections. You don't actually die unless you fall all the way down into the bottomless pit near the exit.
The maze level I'm guessing is Ghost Bayou. There are several places you can rev roll off of, specifically the wooden pillars, to skip parts of the level. The invisible walls can be annoying to get around though.

To this day, this remains one of my favorite videos ever. Every clip for the entire 16 minutes ranges from great to absolutely iconic. There's not a day in my life that I wouldn't break out cackling at 13:50, Cilletix really has a way with words in this one that just vives well with me. Not to mention the screaming is superb.
I remember how the rising lava in Volcanic Panic used to scare the shit out of me as a kid for some reason. Probably when I’d make it to that section late and the lava would already be up at the arrow platform. Still love this game tho

I actually beat 100% of this game back in 2020. I only had to look up 1 token and 2 apple locations.
Both apples are easy to miss. The one in Avalanche Alley is up the side of a mountain that you will only see if you use a Blue B-doing to get as close to the wall as possible.
The other one was in Night Crawling where you have to beat a bat while on moving platforms near the end of the stage. Literally the only time that enemy has a fruit.

Oh you silly goose! If you get all the pac-dots in a level you unlock the Pacshop where you can exchange your pac-points for a 1up(s). You can also redeem your passwords which can be found hidden in the level or given by beating a level without taking damage.
Skating levels are the one solace in this game. Literally the most fun levels. I've replayed this game just for those levels
