The idea that i'm leaving a full 20 seconds lying around this track like loose change really reminds me how slow i am. Ouch. But then again, this is his day job, and he's damn good at it.
@@dmmusicmusic I would guess about 1 second faster, not much more than that. Barber is alot like Alastaro Circuit in Finland for it's profile. Alastaro Superbike track record is held by Niki Tuuli (SSP600 world championship rider) with 1:15.6. The guy that matched the same qualifying time, Eemeli Lahti (endurance world championship rider) has the 600cc lap record of 1:16.8. So the gap between 1000cc and 600cc is surprisingly small, 1000cc wins on the straights, but it loses a bit during cornering because of the extra weight etc.
news4usunshine I was complementing the foot work with the camera. Yes, I do track days and even race here on the east cost along with dirt bikes and racing them also. I have been taught slow hands make a fast rider. Again, phenomenal video and how they captured the foot work.
Anyone who’s been to this track gets sick or slightly frightened watching this. He’s closing the throttle where everyone else has been on the brakes for seconds.
Had this on repeat while driving from chicago to Barber this weekend racing with Ahrma. Put it on the box twice with my slow cb750! My 1:49’s are so slow to watch it hurts ;)
Outside the usual big 4 factory rides, there is going to be some interesting competition. JD, KW, Matt, and Jake have the talent to be at the front. I expect JD and Matt will likely have their bikes pretty dialed in. How well Jake get the BMW working and KW gets the Ducati going remains to be seen. Bring on Road Atl.
@@Gambler1-1 I will have to look into this! I think I'm around 1:40 (my Racebox bricked last go around so wasn't able to pull my lap times). Got bumped to Advanced so I guess that means I'm sort of OK pace? xD Will be there this sunday so hopefully it will work this time!

bet your tires don't last long; be careful bro. but I know the rush. like nothing else. gotta wonder what his time would be on an R1.

@@sfprivateeryour right, I ride Barber, the difference between 600 and 1000 is only a couple seconds
This video is motivational. One of the best on UA-cam Jake
If you watch the foot work, it is phenomenal how they can make so many adjustments in a short amount of time.
You've obviously never done any track riding.

1:12 Amazing sound! So fast
Would love to know the gearing combo he is using on that R6
A 1:28 lap time. Thats 5 seconds over the lap record. Insane.
For motorcycles?

At least you try and you are out there giving your best.

Is this Ludacris speed?
I would have to say, you guys are NOT in the novice group on a track day.
Can i scren shot
Wow, massive bacon all over that track.
I can do that on a Grom.
I could beat this.
This circuit should have been available in Ride 5 together with pittsburgh
was thinking the same exact thing! It's a shame literally no recent racing games have this track that I know of.
@@alixvandurand gp bikes as a mod. its a great track. my record rigt now is 1:34.872
