- Forge got a nice change in the recent Over-The-Air patch, so I wanted to try him out in a deck that has tons of cards that scale up his improved power buff.

Power Estimate: This deck had a nutty 80% winrate for me through the first 15 games, and felt really smooth to pilot thanks to a clean curve and lots of power output. As always, more data is required to know for sure how strong this is, but for a deck that was built primarily for a "theme", it has performed shockingly well so far.

That was honestly the most satisfying killmonger I’ve seen in a while.
Forge feels REAL right now. I've been playing a bounce deck with Forge, Bast and Iron Man, and just went from 107 to 120 by snapping very moderately. I had games in which I Basted my Iron Man, played Forge on turn 5 (alongside other cards) and dropped a 6 power Iron Man on the last turn (not to mention a Sinister London game in which I had 2 9 power Iron Man on the board). Pretty cool to se such an underused card get some fresh air
problem with forge is it feels too good. currently there almost not a deck you could create where forge as a 2 drop isn't better then most other 2 drops. any deck with sera it's. 1 drop turn 6. so u could make an insane hit monkey.
it will probably get nerfed my guess is

@@ryanbraybrook2610 I completely disagree. There are multiple decks that don't really care about Forge's effect, and would easily cut him for different options. His effect is only good in decks that can multiply/scale the buff he gives (i.e. Shuri decks, Brood decks, Bounce decks, etc.). He is nowhere near the levels of a Scorpion and Lizard's playrate/power level a few months back; in fact, the closest thing to that is Jeff. I'd say, that up until the 4 energy mark, the pool of cards that are actually strong or at least have a place in certain decks is pretty wide, and that the balance is actually there. Forge has his niche right now, but to say that the inflation in his playrate correalates 1:1 with his power level (meaning they overbuffed him) is just a wild guess at best and an overreaction at worst

@@niceboypaolo feel free to swap some cards out. As you can see, it's just a bounce shell with Forge. You may notice that I don't run Chavez, and while it's true that there are going to be games in which you don't draw your bounce cards, I feel like the sheer numbers forge allows you to put on board, make up for the slight inconsistency. That said, I've been playing this deck a lot, and I've only had a few games in which I had that happening

I absolutely love this deck!!! I had been tinkering with it on my own but your video has allowed to really enjoy and refine it!
I've swapped Colleen wing for venom just for the better destroy consistency, and venom helps with board clutter while keeping your power.
I'd also suggest for people to swap out okoye for scarlet witch if you're playing against a lot of magic decks like i have. Gives you a lot of free cubes and sneaky wins!!!
Gone from 70 to 80 in less than 2 days with this deck, absolutely skyrocketing!!!!

Something that I love about this deck is that is feels good but also very honest: nothing super op or dramatic or flashy, just good, honest stat buffs.
Exactly how I felt.
This showed up on my recommended. started watching and immediately had to open the game and check on forge excited for that +1 power buff only then to realize this is 4 months old and he was nerfed since then.
Its very similar to a deck I made buff oriented with Lady Deathstrike to try to make her work. I felt it better than the destroyer arquetype, but still you can replace LD and get a better deck like this one in the video

Had some fantastic games with a similar list last night; was playing Deathstrike because I just got her and needed to farm cubes- she could be a better card but won a few games eating Iron Mans/Draculas.
The perfect deck for the weekend goals. Or 2 out of 3 for me.

Hey great vid! I've been playing something similar and getting some wild results as well! As you mentioned in the first game your space is at a premium with this deck- one consideration is to run Carnage and Venom- being able to eat unbuffed clones for +2 (with either card) or buffed clones for +5 (with Venom) to reclaim the space has worked wonders for me! I have a breakdown of the rationale on my most recent video if anyone is looking for more info!
I'd take Venom over Colleen I think. There's less chance of getting rid of Nova, Forge or Sinister when you want to keep them. Sera makes it so the curve isn't so bad, but I'm sure there are times you'd miss the cheaper card.
I guess its a trade off of have less space spread out vs consolidating under a very shang-able target.

That's actually how it started, but it underperformed.
CTR jumped once I changed it to "lose" because it showcased the strength of the deck and not just a reference. Crazy what one word can do.

Ngl I think if they plan to keep forge wiith +3 on reveal I think he should be 2/0, I mean the +1 Power in the on reveal is just nutty with all the combo potential, so he himself I feel should be a bit of a dead spot on the board with 0 Power

i like this deck, i sadly do not have ironlad so i have replaced it with lady deathstrike (she not a main focus ) but i have used her to clear a lane, another time i use it to kill nova + 2 daggers and some of there units and it's 4
if you hit it with forget it 6 so it can clear alot of bounce and decks i've seen.

Replacing coleen wing and Ironlad with surfer and another 3 drop is great. I am about to hit infinite with that deck (juggernaut is what i went with, although i am tempted to try out venom for another destroy card).
I would probably swap the mr sinister for silver surfer and leave the rest as is. You've dropped the consistency of hitting daken and hitting brood with ironlad is pretty big.
I'm swapping out mr sinister because I think this deck suffers from board space and many times it feels like I dont want to play him. Plus with surfer you can also absorb or ironlad him :)

Surfer maybe? I think daken is pretty important to this deck, and you would also swap out coleen wing for something else.
I may have missed this explanation at some point but why do you not use alternate card variants than the originals??

Swapping Surfer in for Nakia or Okoye is really nice here. Buffs the Brood, Broodlings, and Daken.
Then just play a surfer deck.. most of the things would be waste without okoye and nakia

I tried Silver Surfer with this kind of deck. Took too many space and harder to set up tho. Your deck seems a little more stable but I don't have Daken :/
With how often my board is filled with Broodlings this deck really needs Silver Surfer.

NOPE! @ssnipPhilip I confirmed. Since I'm infinite I ran like 10 games til i got Forge into Mysterio and it'll show all three of them as 3 power and one turns to 7 at the end of the game.....pretty good. Bad for Iron Lad though so it's awkward in this deck. 4 energy for Forge plus Mysterio = 1+3+3+7 = 14 power 4 cost that takes up 4/12 spaces.....
I don't have Iron Lad so I just put Shang Chi in there because he's always helpful and I 10-0'd a very scary Mr. Negative deck (locations helped of course)

I mean, yes, Sera Surfer is an archetype, but you wouldn't need to start from this foundation. Just grab a good Sera Surfer list if you want to play that.

I hit a lot Savage Land, Central Park and Shadow lands and i feeld those raptors, squirrels or ninjas really scre with this deck because of the space to play cards... so it has a high location weakness. also crimson kosmos, space throne, miniaturized lab etc... you end up with full spaces and unable to play cards and hold cards to much a lot dont you?
