The whole thing is so sturdy… except for the little thing you push to lock the top part in position. It doesn’t put enough pressure on the centre post so if I push on top of the trombone even the smallest amount it slips (like when I’m attaching a wireless mic). I don’t know how it would support a heavier trigger trombone. The rest of it is so sturdy it makes me think I must be doing something wrong. Any suggestions?
Hi. I had the same issue which i resolved. The horns was leaning on the side and it was seriously flimsy when on the stand. You need to use a bit more pressure on the little switch and it will click into place/stand strong. it felt like i might break it but i pushed a bit harder and it clipped into place. Hope this helps
@@safemagbld101 oh man.... you wouldn't believe it... I just realized, I've been pushing that switch the wrong way the whole time. It feels like it's gently clicking in, and does put some pressure on the centre post if you push it to the left.. that's how I thought it was supposed to be. I just tried pushing it to the right instead - huge difference. What an idiot I am... Thanks for making me realize the stand must work better than it does.
