This is a video on VW Scirocco mk3 Rear high level center brake light replacement. You have to remove the spoiler unit first in order to get to 2 T20 screws that hold the unit in.

Yeah that happens quite often. Have you checked all your rubber seals that cover the bulbs. A lot of times its due to them being loose.
I have got tips for cleaning on the outside, but kn the inside all I ever done was air trigger plugged in to air line and just blow it out. That was mainly to remove humidity.

I just installed a new spoiler on my Scirocco and I dropped a screw inside of the trunk door about 6 times. These were such a pain to get out as the screws weren't magnetic. Don't be like me and don't drop screws in there because it wil take a ton of time to get these out.
Yeah I definitely recommend using magnetic socket

Yeah it's a bit hard at the moment. I'll check as I think I have got a brand new one at my barn.
Unfortunately nut get dropped into hole. What i need to do right now. Some tiny magnet or something? Do you have any solution?
Ohh 😞 I did try and warn everyone about it. Now you need a little magnet with extension and also move the boot door up and down. You will hear the nut moving. Try and catch it that way.
Tell me something., so we must remove all lamp and buy new one to change 2-3 bulb inside it......can you open this rear light and replacement only 2-3 bump inside it.
On my unit you can't open it. So just needs new unit and that will have all the bulbs in. The newer ones are led so that can't be changed also.
