Did my grad work at IU in 1997, AJ's sophomore year. Coach Knight was kind enough to permit me to attend practice; every day and twice on Saturday. I never missed a session and enjoyed watching that group practice. For me, it changed my approach to coaching and I consider the Motion Offense we run today to be of the Knight tree.
Brings back great memories. I was on campus for '87. It took awhile after I was married before I learned to stop telling people that was the greatest night of my life. It might have something to do with my wife having been a Boiler Babe. Maybe. Always enjoyed watching you play!
That's for doing this A.J.

Love this, 2 of my all-time favorite Hoosiers. Also, love the stories about Coach Knight.
Im happy coach came back to IU thanks coach Woodson
Great job guys!!!!
I think Bob Knight is the best coach. I was in Indiana, and I watch the 1981 team (Isiah Thomas) and 1987 team (Steve Alford)
Steve should have been given opportunity to be Head Coach IU
Best basketball game I've seen was alford vs james blackmon 2 great scorers in high school
Thanks for this! 2 of my favorite players!
lol
