I own the NTTD seamaster and can comfirm that the milanese mesh bracelet wears extremely comfortable even though the clasp is quite thick when closed. For some reason that doesn’t bother me one bit. Thanks for your input on this. I have the black dial SMP300 on rubber (so comfy!) and was thinking of picking up the steel mesh bracelet but my only reservation so far has been the thick clasp. But you're saying it's not cumbersome? Is it really that thick or does it just look exaggerated in videos?
@@steelsteez6118 well let’s say it’s certainly not the thinnest but it gets quite exaggerated in videos. I also have a Panerai Luminor and to be fair, the thick strap and buckle on that one is comparable. Off course it would be ideal when you have a chance to try one before ordering because it doesn’t have micro adjustments and for me it fits perfectly with the designated holes in the bracelet but that’s also different for every wrist. Do you have an AD around with either the NTTD or this new Steel version in stock? Accessories like these are way too expensive to be disappointed after purchasing. This is a great looking watch and I'd love to buy this new OEM Omega stainless steel mesh to put on my first gen 2201.50 Planet Ocean 42mm, I think it would work well on the watch and play with the look, great presentation as always Alexander.

amazing quality video!! ty! would be insta buy for me, with different caseback and a lume tip at the bezel.. love the wavepattern and the dark navy color. the blue SMP300 ain't my type of blue..
As always! Excellent review Alexander! I love the shade of blue that they chose and particularly the blue white contrast! It just pops! The lume looks great as well! I don't care too much for the special feature on the back but I have to admit, it's very cool! All in all, a great offering from Omega! One special note, although it is not a limited edition watch, Omega will probably gate keep this like the 50th Snoopy and only offer it to their "VIP" customers. Sad but true. I understand it, but hate it at the same time. That's my only gripe with Omega.
This one will not be as difficult to get as the “Snoopy”… Omega has a vivid interest that people wear the watches… every wearer of an Omega is the brands best ambassador…
@WatchAdvisor I hope this is true! I'm sure you already know, but they secretly released a small quick set micro-adjust on the Speedmaster! A most welcome addition!
My excuses 😉🤣! I am happy to read this and I wish you that your Omega and Panerai watches continue to always show you HAPPY 😃 seconds, minutes and hours…
Vielen, herzlichen Dank für dieses wunderbare Feedback! Möge Ihnen Ihre Seamaster auch weiterhin stets nur schöne Sekunden, Minuten und Stunden anzeigen…
Nice video of a pretty watch. I am still happy with the Seamaster NTTD which has a slimmer profile. I find the Omega animations fairly special, unique as well as entertaining. No doubts these will put smiles on people’s faces which is great. I am wondering which other watch company does similar things ? 🤔
I shouldn't be complaining about Omega's unwillingness to make their cases thinner? I'm sorry, but these movements have been around for a while already, and I'm pretty sure it's more than a decade now. One would think they would've figured out how to engineer them thinner by now, but instead they choose to indulge in producing animated gimmicks that admittedly look cool, but don't anything to the overall practicality of the watch. I like Omega as much as the next guy, but this is wholly unacceptable.
Movement production can end up in the millions per different movement family. The return on said investment isn't immediate as well, which in turn means higher priced watches. As much as I would also like thinner cases, I would much rather prefer a more affordable cost compared to thickness
Wanting your calibres to be “Master Chronometer” certified and as reliable as they actually are? Yes? Then you have no other choice then to build them as Omega does…
Thanks Mr. Alexander, great review as always. Such a creative design on this watch. Unfortunately, I never really liked the Helium Escape Valve nor the left-side crowns.
@@WatchAdvisor I will! I love the No Time to Die edition. The fuse of color between the titanium, the vintage looking cream indices, and the brown luminescent bezel is killer.
@@WatchAdvisor After trying it on my wrist, I have just placed a call to my local AD here in Abu Dhabi and put my name on the waitlist. This watch is just too cool to pass on!
Really like this one and the titanium one. I’ve owed the current Seamaster and it’s a great watch but quite a flawed watch too. The valve has to stay as it’s the DNA of the watch but it’s become much to heavy and thick and the bracelet is over engineered and too heavy too. It’s also lacking refinement on the edges. Also the bezel action is very scratchy and hollow sounding and doesn’t match the new much higher price. The whole watch is too shiny too and the AR coating on the outside is probably necessary to control the reflections from the shiny ceramic dial but I would rather it didn’t have it. Lastly the lume on the hands is so slim it’s not very effective. Omega should take it back to a 41 mm case and slim it down. The power reserve could do with upgrading too. The Speedmaster had a excellent facelift recently including a slimmer lighter more refined lighter bracelet. This is the direction the next Seamaster needs to go with this small wave dial from this 60th anniversary watch.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and passion with us! This is the way Omega actually goes… still the question remains: when do I change a winning team?
Alexander...is Snoopy getting a brother? I can see you are discovering the magic of " see-through backs" We are never too old to discover new taists. 😀
Hi Alexander, great video. As owner of a blue standard Diver 300M I truly appreciate the blu color and old style waves on the dial. Not excited by animation, I would like to have your opinion about the Milanese bracelet: it is comfortable where you have the closure mechanism, or do you feel it a little thick? The standard bracelet has only 1 limitation, since does not taper. But offers an amazing micro adjustment! Honestly speaking, I prefer the NTD version, this one is too expensive in my opinion
@WatchAdvisor They said that for a new customer to the boutique like myself, it just wouldn't be possible. The boutique I'm referring to is the New York boutique on 5th Avenue.
I wasn't impressed by the last version, mainly because of the faux patina, but this one would be worth getting. However I fear that many people including myself won't be able to get one at the ad as the bond special editions seem to be reserved for their special customers.
Thanks for the video l love the look. I’m getting the black dial Seamaster don’t know if I should go high polish Staib mesh bracelet or the omega one . $700 plus not being in stock makes harder to go with omega mesh bracelet but it looks good
Another great video. You do the best watch videos! Isn’t the last Bond watch (the brown dial etc) all titanium including the bracelet? Which would mean that this bracelet on the blue Bond watch is a SS version of the titanium on the last Bond watch. I love this watch and would have definitely bought it except for one thing…I need a triangle on the bezel instead of the 60. A triangle is so much easier to read and really stands out, plus I use a diver bezel every day to time various things so if it had the triangle, it would have been the perfect Bond watch for me.
Thanks for sharing our passion and your kind feedback! Yes the NTTD is a titanium watch… concerning your remark about the “triangle” … this shows again that tastes are different… I personally like the “60” …
@@WatchAdvisor ok, you guys all make good points. I was thinking from a readability at a glance perspective. I use the dive bezel a lot throughout the day and I like to just glance and find the triangle to do my calculations quickly. I was thinking that it would take a micro second longer to find the 60 since it looks more similar to all the other numbers than does a triangle. But I’m thinking more about it….
Thank you Alexander, nice video as always. I like the watch, but it is not for me and I like it less than the titanium nttd version. I prefer the regular even more, plenty bond vibe on the Seamaster anyway. I have that on a staib butterfly clasp mesh (they are probably the supplier to omega from what I understood, very similar appearance). Better price, prettier waves and ceramic bezel as an advantage.
Besten Gruss, US

Alexander thanks for the another great Video! I just got mine couple of days ago and absolutley ❤ it, one sidenote: I still have to get used to the white secondsmarker as for me it looks weird in direct sunlight, looks like the plastic secondhands of the MoonSwatch, apart from that the watch is perfect! :)
Once again, I think that Omega needs to re issue the Seamaster 300 165.024. This re issue in modern technology, NO Faux Patina Lume, and full lumed ceramic bezel, in addition to the case made in O-Mega Steel. This re issue, would be a serious contender, and stand above the other diver, with a 👑 crown on its dial . It would really appeal to those liking, a diver with true military heritage. OMEGA, this re issue, would be a total success , and encourage those who dislike the Wart ,He escape valve another option. This Bond 60th, is ok, but the re issue I mention, would be truly exciting to Omega connoisseurs, and collectors. Thank you !
Love the blue on this piece. Though , I already had the heritage version and I ended up getting the Milanese. If omega made a white dial/black bezel heritage model with black lume on the dial and white lume on the bezel then I may have to sell!
Blue was and is the typical color for Bond watches… So maybe another edition might be presented in the future, but without the animation on the backside…
Great review, thank you. Seems there's no pleasing some people. It's awesome and I'm getting one. Love the fact Omega are innovative and don't take it too seriously unlike some well known boring other Swiss brands.
I wonder if Omega will continue releasing a James Bond watch every year 🤔. Their catalog is becoming a mess with so many models. With that being said, this is the bracelet that every Seamaster 300M should come with. It is beautiful. For those who don't care about James Bond, but love Omega watches it is the only thing interesting about this watch.
As long Omega partners with the producers of James Bond movies the brand will continue to release 007-themed watches of course… everybody else being in that position would do exactly the same… This particular Seamaster can be worn without thinking/remembering of 007… only when you turn it around, as I said in the video, the “show” starts…
@@WatchAdvisor Unfortunately, the price of the watch is highly affected by the relationship with guy from MI-6. 😁. The price of NTTD version has been going down in price in the secondary market. I expect with this edition that will happen even more. Thanks for replying back and for your videos.
@@hugohernandez3651 Please do not define any Bond Seamaster over the price it actually has, may achieve or not ... You bought a very special watch you obviously like ... so do enjoy it and do not sell it ... wear it and let it become a part of you, a part of your history, a lifetime best buddy on your wrist, a time-safe continuously showing you the correct time and "recording" special moments... Buying watches should only be about emotions and NOT ratio...
@@WatchAdvisor I try not to with every single watch I own. I have a Seamaster 300M Black ceramic and Titanium. It is way more expensive than the regular version and it doesn't even have a date complication. However, when I see the ceramic case, the ceramic clasp, and the open back case and bezel en Titanium, I get lost enjoying it.. I see achievement in engineering, and design. I imagine James Bond fans feel something similar for a watch like this. Something that can't be described.
I have the Goldeneye reference. So I have a soft spot for the Diver Pro and Omega in general. Having said that, I do wish they get rid of the helium escape valve and the skeletonized hands. What I really lust for is a modernized version of a Military-Seamaster: with the modern case (lyre lugs), the military sword hands and (for personality) the original wave dial. With the new spirate adjustment, that would be a fantastic watch.
such an unnecessarily chunky clasp, problem with Omega is it lacks that extra refinement. From their seamaster dinosaur bracelets to their case thicknesses and gimmicks
For some here, no matter what Omega does or doesn't do, it just isn't good enough. There sure are a lot of armchair CEO's etc. who seem to have an immediate answer and split-second reaction and fix time for everything that hits the watch industry. Many of you should put your keyboards to action and apply to Omega. I bet your tune changes to a different song.
Love your content, appreciate the reply. I just think there are obvious issues at the heart of the seamaster, if I was working there: 1. Smaller case diameter/thinner 40mm 2. Tapered refined bracelet with extension on the fly 3. Filler sword hands 4. Keep ceramic bezel 5. Helium escape valve removed as it is completely superfluous and a polarising design feature 6. Date function at 3pm
@@ameen6251 ha ha so what you want is a Rolex Submariner? If you don't like the Seamaster's features then don't buy it. There are lots of people, including myself who like the Seamaster for all the things you hate. I don't know why people like you bother to write these comments? Would you walk into a Ferrari dealership and say to the salesman that you don't like sports cars so they should build you a campervan instead? Nobody is forcing you to like or buy this watch, go find something you do actually like.
Ok no need to get aggressive, this shouldn't be compared to a Sub/Rolex, it should be compared to the likes of Rado, Tudor and Oris, that is the playing field omega is in. Can't deny the clasp is large and obtrusive and the case lacks some vibrancy.
Failure to re-issue the reference 165.024 Seamaster is a big mistake by Omega. It is the 60th anniversary of that watch in 2023. The first Omega Seamaster used by her Royal Navy that inspired the Rolex 5517. It would be the most realistic watch Sean Connery would have worn. The 2015 Spectre is close but no cigar. A proper 165.024 reissue with sword hands (from the 2254.50) vintage dial of the heritage and "fixed lugs" would have been the best Seamaster. Fix lug are non-removable lugs that are only worn with NATO straps to make it more authentic like the original MoD (Ministry of Defense) Her Majesty's Royal Navy issued watch that a 000 agent would have worn. Such a lost of an opportunity. It is as someone doesn't know the Omega lineage and history.

Have mine ordered with my boutique in canada. I hope I get selected for it !
I keep my fingers crossed ... and please keep us posted...

A mix between the Glodeneye and No Time to Die Seamasters. Not my thing, but it's obviously a nice watch.

I am happy to read this! Thanks for sharing! What about the watch? Do you like it?
@@WatchAdvisor absolutely love it! I already have the NTTD so I won’t need this. And your previous videos made me buy x2 panerai 😅 thank you!
My excuses 😉🤣! I am happy to read this and I wish you that your Omega and Panerai watches continue to always show you HAPPY 😃 seconds, minutes and hours…
Hi Alex, great video like always, thank you very much. Regarding the watch, its like the Snoopy, the show is going on on the back side of the case!
I love once again that Omega is really celebrating this partnership and does not only apply a logo…
Sie sind für mich einer der besten Uhren UA-camR, absolut top Ihre Videos! Habe dir NTTD liebe diese Uhr! Omega absolut top in jeder Hinsicht.
Vielen, herzlichen Dank für dieses wunderbare Feedback! Möge Ihnen Ihre Seamaster auch weiterhin stets nur schöne Sekunden, Minuten und Stunden anzeigen…

Toys for boys!
Nice video of a pretty watch. I am still happy with the Seamaster NTTD which has a slimmer profile. I find the Omega animations fairly special, unique as well as entertaining. No doubts these will put smiles on people’s faces which is great. I am wondering which other watch company does similar things ? 🤔
Love your passion and comment! Thanks for sharing!
Yes? Then you have no other choice then to build them as Omega does…
🤣
This here is the perfect example of wanting everything
The Seamaster NTTD has a slimmer case.
Thanks Mr. Alexander, great review as always. Such a creative design on this watch. Unfortunately, I never really liked the Helium Escape Valve nor the left-side crowns.
Do you have the possibility to try it on your wrist? If yes go… you never know… and all the sudden this HEV does not border you anymore…
I can see you are discovering the magic of " see-through backs"
We are never too old to discover new taists.
😀
Could be, could be … I already had similar thoughts…
@WatchAdvisor Look into the see through back...see the wonderfully movement moving....then look at the face.....blue, blue and blue.... 😀😃🙂
The bracelet is top notch, it wears comfortable all around and literally hugs your wrist…
Great episode 👏 I would love to get this watch, but my nearest Omega boutique says that's "impossible " for me 😭
What do mean with “impossible” ? They said you can’t buy the watch? Where are you based?
@WatchAdvisor They said that for a new customer to the boutique like myself, it just wouldn't be possible. The boutique I'm referring to is the New York boutique on 5th Avenue.
I wasn't impressed by the last version, mainly because of the faux patina, but this one would be worth getting. However I fear that many people including myself won't be able to get one at the ad as the bond special editions seem to be reserved for their special customers.
You have to try… only then you will know… I expect you to be successful… my I ask: where are you based?
You have clearly not seen them in person. That watch is simply stunning.
Que relojes tan hermosos.
Cierto, muy cierto...
I would love to see the traveler gmt like the original quartz had.
That’s always a good feature to have…
Thanks for the video l love the look. I’m getting the black dial Seamaster don’t know if I should go high polish Staib mesh bracelet or the omega one . $700 plus not being in stock makes harder to go with omega mesh bracelet but it looks good
You should buy the one you like... if you must wait... do it!
Yes the NTTD is a titanium watch… concerning your remark about the “triangle” … this shows again that tastes are different… I personally like the “60” …
@@WatchAdvisor the 60 is much more sexy than the triangle.
I agree… 😉 Looks much more technical IMHO…
@@WatchAdvisor ok, you guys all make good points. I was thinking from a readability at a glance perspective. I use the dive bezel a lot throughout the day and I like to just glance and find the triangle to do my calculations quickly. I was thinking that it would take a micro second longer to find the 60 since it looks more similar to all the other numbers than does a triangle. But I’m thinking more about it….
@@off-roadingcars Thanks for sharing!
Loving mine. It’s a special watch IAmO.
May your Seamaster continue to always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours…
What's the fair market value of this watch in July, 2024?
7000-9000 Euro
Thank you Alexander, nice video as always. I like the watch, but it is not for me and I like it less than the titanium nttd version. I prefer the regular even more, plenty bond vibe on the Seamaster anyway. I have that on a staib butterfly clasp mesh (they are probably the supplier to omega from what I understood, very similar appearance). Better price, prettier waves and ceramic bezel as an advantage.

Besten Gruss, US

@@WatchAdvisor Oh, das ging ja mal schnell. my AD only said, that they'll discontinue the NTTD SMP when the new bond movie hits cinemas. so it will still take some time.
@@WatchAdvisor thanks in advance for trying.

Thanks for sharing!
it's kinda like a mash-up of their bond watches from over the years, combining elements from each of them. not sure it works for me
Thanks for sharing! Did you already try it on your wrist?
Thank you !
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and passion with us!
😍😍😍
Which is your favorite Bond watch?
👍
Any thoughts about the watch?
Love the blue on this piece. Though , I already had the heritage version and I ended up getting the Milanese.
If omega made a white dial/black bezel heritage model with black lume on the dial and white lume on the bezel then I may have to sell!
Blue was and is the typical color for Bond watches… So maybe another edition might be presented in the future, but without the animation on the backside…
I would love the NTTD case with this watch bezel insert, dial and hands. That would be awesome 🤩
Nice dial en bezel. But caseback and bracelet are a miss.
Have you watched the video? Did you discover 007 coming into the scene?
@@WatchAdvisor ja das habe ich. Warum fragst Du das?
Because it explains why the case-back looks as it looks…
@@WatchAdvisor i know. But all the printing on it is what I don’t like on most earlier Grand Seiko’s either
Great review, thank you. Seems there's no pleasing some people. It's awesome and I'm getting one. Love the fact Omega are innovative and don't take it too seriously unlike some well known boring other Swiss brands.
Thanks for watching and for sharing our passion!
@@hugohernandez3651 Most likely this is the case… end of the day it is being spoilt for choice…
Thanks for sharing, I fully agree… will send it to Greg Kissling…
such an unnecessarily chunky clasp, problem with Omega is it lacks that extra refinement.
I just think there are obvious issues at the heart of the seamaster, if I was working there:
1. Smaller case diameter/thinner 40mm
2. Tapered refined bracelet with extension on the fly
3. Filler sword hands
4. Keep ceramic bezel
5. Helium escape valve removed as it is completely superfluous and a polarising design feature
6. Date function at 3pm
@@ameen6251 Thanks for your kind feedback, for specifying and sharing!
I like Omega very much but this realease leaves me cold and it is definitely too expensive, IMO.
The price is due to the animation on the backside…
@@WatchAdvisor Still, pretty useless.
@@sadaka201 think emotional and not rational… 😉
Thanks for sharing! The year is still young … IMHO this iconic diver has more potential than this… let us see what’s next… it is definitely too early to complain…
I'd rather get the NTTD, the general whiteness of the Omega text puts me off.
Tastes are different!
Honestly, the 60th feels better on wrist for me because of the steel. NTTD is just too light and almost feels cheap
If they had a plain case-back, reduced the size to 40mm, and used the sword hands from the 90s, it would be perfect.
Maybe… Tastes are different…
40mm would make for a very small dial.

The bracelet is the only interesting thing on this watch imo. Very boring watch except the bracelet.

Guess no omega days this year. Oh well....
No, but several launches during the year…
For me it just looks hideous compare to Sub or Sumo or MM or Black bay or Ocean star or Captain Cook or Aquis or 62mas.
Well tastes are different! 😜
If it had no helium valve, narrower hands and no waves on the dial it would look good.
I've got a rollex sub just got this in a black dial black bezel the blue version has been my favourite watch for ages I would gladly do a straight swap for my submariner I regret buying my sub its so boring I think that's how I was able to buy one from my AD when the sub hands are at 11,12 o'clock position the hands hide the rolex and the crown on the dial unless you know watches well no one even knows its a rolex. This omega is class I'm not really to impressed by the back only I see it as I would never let anyone hold it exept for family I just like the see through back on most of my watches I could of waited for the blue dial version but I figured when it's in stock I might just get that too
