Thank you for this video. Much better than the 12volt solution version. Couple of things that helped me - in the video, you reference "four push clips". These aren't the push quick release circle clips (there are none of those). He's referring to the four lever/latch clips, easily seen from the bottom of the panel. Also, there is no need to cut the electrical tape holding the harness together, you can use a long regular screwdriver to gently press the clip release and there is plenty of play in the wiring to connect everything, at least on my 2020. He is correct, and it's still a problem, that the SLP clip does not latch. Very frustrating. I used electrical tape to hold it together as my harness was already routed. In hindsight, I would have drilled a hole in the 12volt harness SLP female connector so the male OEM connector correctly latches into place. DEFINITELY either do that or use electrical tape to hold that SLP harness together. I used HD velcro to connect my 4g unit to the DEI unit, both tucked in nicely above the credit card holder area (above the hood/fuel latches). Finally, he does reference this in the video, but the "CL6" software is the correct software for the unit. There is zero documentation about this on the 12volt website or instructions. 12volt just says "install the app". What app. There is no 12volt app for iOS. Only the CL6.

When you open the door does the car shut off ?
I’m pretty sure 2020s came with the remote start feature. Press lock three times and hold on the third time and it should fire up. I might be wrong…
